The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I watched part of that last Cleveland game against OKC on national TV. Hood looked very happy on offense, but not surprisingly, he was not bringing any grit to defense and rebounding. Royce O'Neale's grit is probably spoiling me though.

I'll take talent over grit anytime .....,. under dogs are under dogs for a reason. Hood can easily put up big numbers and that's what Cleveland wants .In the playoffs everyone steps it up a notch and Clev probably hopes Hood delivers points than looking for him to bring grit.

Why is Doc going to get fired? They traded away two All Stars, Paul and Griffin; they lost many player games to injuries, including Beverly for nearly the entire season; they've fielded 26 different starting lineups and they are still winning more than losing, refusing to fold. On the surface, looks like good coaching in the face of adversity.

He apologized and said he was tongue tied. If that was true, you'd think he would have recognized the mistke immediately and apologized then.
I think he really didn't know it was a slur. The way he used it was just like he had no idea it was offensive.

I still slip up and say the word gay from time to time. Do I hate gay people, no. Do I think all gay people should have equal rights, yes. Do I sound like a giant **** when the word comes out, yes. Do I have any bad intentions towards anyone when I say the word, no. I think we as a society should relax and realize we all mess up and stop public executions for screwing up. Especially when the person immediately apologizes.
