No, what's that about?

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

The info that is out about it is entertaining imo. I guess I am just curious if it is sour grapes or a case of an angry ex getting even. So many times women somehow get confused between child support and ex support. But supposedly it was blake who asked her to quit her career and be a housewife type, so I guess get the popcorn on this one.

Idk what goes on behind closed doors, but if bryn was willing to do whatever blake wanted he is stupid as fork for messing around with the klown family.

I watched part of that last Cleveland game against OKC on national TV. Hood looked very happy on offense, but not surprisingly, he was not bringing any grit to defense and rebounding. Royce O'Neale's grit is probably spoiling me though.

I'll take talent over grit anytime .....,. under dogs are under dogs for a reason. Hood can easily put up big numbers and that's what Cleveland wants .In the playoffs everyone steps it up a notch and Clev probably hopes Hood delivers points than looking for him to bring grit.

You mean to take Kanter or Carmelo over Millsap? Good luck in lottery!

O'Neale prevented Ginobili, then Anderson, from even getting a shot off at the end of a game. San Antonio is one of the best executing teams in basketball at the end of a game and they didn't even get a real shot up off an inbounds play when they had 17 seconds to do it (not counting Ginobili's desperation one handed heave at the buzzer). O'Neale's defense was the type of play that wins playoffs, and there is not another guard on this team, especially the now departed Hood, that I think would have done as well defending on that last possession.

I was open to keeping Hood if he didn't require to be a starter and was not likely to command Joe Ingles' money or better, but it seemed like neither of those things were coming true. Then I questioned picking up Crowder after his poor performance in Cleveland, but I like Crowder's start here and I like his contract. We got a younger replacement for injured Thabo. And now we have more minutes available for O'neale, who has emerged as a solid two way player. O'Nealle plays consistent in your face defense, rebounds, passes, knocks down the open threes and occasionally drives in to the paint to score.

I am not certain that Hood is going to be a good playoff performer. I wish him well and hope he is, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Moving this quote to Around the NBA thread:

BudTugly wrote:Clips don’t have any reason to tank. Doc is gonna get fired so why set up the new guy.

Why is Doc going to get fired? They traded away two All Stars, Paul and Griffin; they lost many player games to injuries, including Beverley for nearly the entire season; they've fielded 26 different starting lineups and they are still winning more than losing. On the surface, it looks like good coaching in the face of adversity.

I have to agree with this. At the start of the year it looked like he might get fired. But he has done a good job with a group of "role players". Maybe he gets fired because Jerry West doesn't believe in him though.

I like the fact that the trade deadline comes and goes before the All Star week now. We are spared all the drama of wondering which stars or rising stars might get traded and wondering whether certain players or other folks at All Star week are colluding with each other to try to force trades.

Man, Ingles needed to be in this 3pt competition to show these chumps how to shoot. Wow this has been pretty ugly display of shooting. Maybe they should change it to where the top 8 3pt% players going into the all star break are invited.

Man, this has been one impressive effort by TNT to stretch this thing out and show as many commercials as possible. That was a 20 minute intro for the "celebrity" judges.

Way too easy to get high scores on this dunk stuff... Nance's dunk was good, but really not that high.... ridiculous

If Smith could make his dunks on first tries he would be a winner of this lame contest.

Alright that second dunk by Nance, the pass off the backboard, was pretty original... Mad Props.

If frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their ass when they hopped.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

Anyone see the clip of Redick wishing "all the chink fans in China" a Happy New Year?

He apologized and said he was tongue tied. If that was true, you'd think he would have recognized the mistake immediately and apologized then.

I think he really didn't know it was a slur. The way he used it was just like he had no idea it was offensive.

I still slip up and say the word gay from time to time. Do I hate gay people, no. Do I think all gay people should have equal rights, yes. Do I sound like a giant **** when the word comes out, yes. Do I have any bad intentions towards anyone when I say the word, no. I think we as a society should relax and realize we all mess up and stop public executions for screwing up. Especially when the person immediately apologizes.

He went to Duke, what do you expect??? lol :P

But seriously we can't expect everyone to be Jaylen Brown and Jeremy Lin guys off the court. Not all ballers have it upstairs.

I still use the words gay, retawded, etc from time to time. Obviously I don't use them as literal insults. There was a time when I think you could blame the right for (pardon the pun) handicapping comedy. Now it's the political correctness of the left. Nothing is off limits with comedy IMO, but if you have hate in your heart and use words in that manner it will show.

There is middle ground between having your tighty whities up your ass and splitting your sack and being Donald Trump. Everybody needs to chill and be able to laugh at a joke. AND the punchline is that JJ is freakin dumb.

That and Fergie. God awful. I hope she didn't get paid for that.
