We could win a championship and the same dudes will be bringing it up.

Rinse and repeat.

Oh look, revisionist history 101....

My two cents on this before we can actually focus on the three youngins:

If you want to blame anyone, blame Donnie Walsh for putting all his eggs into one basket: the 2010 free agent class. There was no plan B for Walsh. He hired Pringles, who ended up hurting us in the tank wars. He drafted Jordan Hill. He made the stupid T-Mac trade. He signed Amare after striking out on LeBron because he would have been fired if nothing was done that summer.

If you want to blame anyone, blame Walsh

How the eff is that cherry picking? points rebounds and assists are pretty basic stats... A very basic look at the amount of production Melo had that year and who's seasons compares over time. It would have been cherry picking if I had sorted out the percentages. If using points assists and rebounds is cherry picking then we can never categorize anyone ever again

Try harder Sark

Lebron isn't even on this list despite putting up multiple seasons with better stats. You picked random numbers that Melo hit to fit your argument. That's the definition of cherry picking.

I wasn't even arguing anything lol. You're sad. Melo put up 27, 8 and 3 that year? did he not? How are those numbers random? I just was putting some historical context to it.... It was nothing serious. get the stick out of your azz whenever somebody brings up something positive Melo did here...

Still Frank's best game as a Knick IMO.

Melo and Walsh have nothing to do with why we suck right now. That was 8 years old. We suck right now because our best player got hurt, we misfired in the draft and didn't take Mitchell, the guy we signed to be the second banana is not suited for that role and is overpaid and we have an awful coach.

I’m not in denial about how and why he got here.

He wanted his money.

The KNICKS chose to oblige that request and trade for him. True or false? No matter how much he wanted to come here, it was OUR choice. Answer the question AWTY.

The Knicks got back one of the players they traded for him. True or false?

The Knicks could not sign him and keep WC. True or false?

I love how we blame players for the decisions of this organization.

Melo pressured them? Who made the final roster decisions? Melo or the FO????

Melo made them opt in then amnesty Billups?

Melo made them trade the only 1st they had left for Bargs?

Answer the questions AWTY.

Who is in charge of the team composition? Melo or the FO?

Stop blaming players for things they are not in charge of.

Blame him for his play. That’s it.

The team composition is 100% on the FO.

Stop making excuses for our FO

Once again....I BLAMED THE FRONT OFFICE FOR THE MISTAKES THEY MADE HUNDREDS OF TIMES ON THIS AND OTHER FORUMS. YOU KNOW THIS AS FACT. THE ONLY FACT YOU CAN'T COME TO GRIPS WITH IS....MELO WAS SELFISH AND DIDN'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THIS TEAM. THE FOR CAVING TO HIS SELFISH DEMANDS ARE TIED AT THE HIP.

Did the knicks HAVE TO trade for Melo? No. BUT THEY DID!! MELO WANTED/GOT HIS!! THIS FACT IS CONVINIENTLY IGNORED BY YOU AND YOUR STAN CREW!! He came here for money and pressured the franchise to please him. They made mistakes along the way. BOTH SIDES SCREWED THE FANS OVER!! You Stans only want to harp on one side(the team) and excuse the other side(selfish ex Knick).

You're disdain for this team over your love for Melo is all that comes through.

I on the other hand am dealing in reality. Not what ifs....what IS!!

I use facts, so I’m a Stan? :rofl2:

Show me where what I said was wrong. The Billups amnesty and the Bargs trade seen probably two of the worst 5 transactions this decade by any team.

Nope. No Stan. I’m a realist. I see this franchise for what it is. That’s why I was begging for a high pick from day one this year so KP wouldn’t be stuck in the same hell and get unfairly blamed. Meanwhile YOU were defending them for not playing the kids.

You’re a HOMER way more than I’ll ever be a stan of any player on this team. That cape you wear for this team has covered your eyes for far too long. Take a good look at this GARBAGE organization for what it is and stop making excuses for what is widely considered one of the WORST run franchises in sports.

You're an idiot who just can't admit he's wrong.

Call me whatever you want. I refuse to let this organization off the hook.

If you’re happy with the decisions they’ve made, enjoy.

Good stuff. Nothing he can't work on. His lack of confidence and desire to score seem like the bigger issue with him offensively.

Frank with an athletic layup at the end from the dotted line. Don’t let that go over your head.

Absolutely. 100%. No doubt about it. Just have a little patience. Frank is going to be fine. It'll be worth the wait imo.

come to the conclusion that Frank isn't a pure 1 or 2 but, he can be a damn good guard some day. Imo he's looked more comfortable and more aggressive playing off the ball yet, can still make the right pass and the right play.

I'm not sure Frank will ever have the aggressiveness to be a big scorer but, if he can become elite defensively, that would be awesome.
