OT: Random question: how can I get a job at NYU or Columbia University?

I want to work at NYU or Columbia University. I'm not a student of either university; I have a bachelors degree.

real talk i have a friend who's works at nyu video department, his student visa is about to expire in may and will probably get deported unless nyu finds a way to keep him.

so if you know how camera's operate a position might open up in may.

well he got the job because he worked for a bunch of mtv shows. like 16 and pregnant, etc.

he didn't get it willy nilly, he got it because he knows what to do.
