I’m concerned he still has his brother and family members doing his training.
Those off season weight lifting videos still haunt me.

The family is not training him there. His trainer is from Spain.
He's just having family and friends around, isn't that normal while recovering from injury/illness? I'd think it is. Keeping up his spirit and other things.

I have no idea who’s in the picture with him.
I didn’t say he couldn’t have his family there for support. I was just talking about his training.

Well, I do agree Jānis should stop training him (but so far he's doing only basketball skill training) because there's only that much he can give his brother basketball-wise now. I wonder if Knicks have their medical/training staff monitoring KP's training/recovery program or he's doing it on his own.

More complicated, though, is Colker’s involvement in an ephedra scandal that followed the death of Orioles pitcher Steve Bechler in 2003. As a physician practicing internal medicine, Colker advocated the use of ephedra – a weight-loss and energy-boosting supplement – while claiming it was safe and effective. He was named as a defendant in three separate lawsuits, accused of falsifying data about the dangerous side effects
Lots of red flags with this dude. One things for sure, KP is dictating his own training and improvement regimen. The credit/blame for the results are on him alone.

Sorry I forgot your name, but I think that guy on here who is an expert at this stuff saw some things in the "professional" guy's routine for KP that wasn't a good idea.

Also, the image of KP wearing a giant pair of "Depends" will never escape my mind.

KP's going to blow out his knee again in the 2019-2020 season. Book it.

It will be of his own doing.
Are the Knicks even involved in his rehab, or is he only using his personal trainers?

This injury is on the realgm message board already. For wishing the Knicks to shut down KP when he played better than expected. You don't need to add this to your individual karma, do you?

I wish I didn't feel it's true, but the guy on here who has the background seem fairly convinced and I think KP has surrounded himself not with the best trainers, but guys based on a "star rep" or his brothers. Unfortunately, I don't think it bodes well.
Also, I recall talking with my brother when KP was drafted and I said "It's our luck that he'll get hurt, then get hurt again, have a Bernard King, 'what if' sort of career"
Already half right on that gut feeling
Don't want to be right. Just a feeling.
