If superstar is the standard you are holding on to, then yes, it is very likely that Frank will disappoint.

Going just by the stats though, Frank is already a top 5 on ball defender in the league in PnR situations. He has a solid foundation as a shooter, and plays with intelligence, if not aggression.

I don't think it is reasonable to think that with more experience, strength training, and development that he won't improve on his already advanced defense and get his offense to a consistent level of production.

19 year olds in the NCAA also improve all the time, and Frank has already proven himself at higher levels of play than the NCAA.

He's currently in the NBA - he is the same height as KP - I think of him as KP from the Bizarro World - his name is Boban Marjonovic.

I didn’t want us to draft frank from the beginning. However, we have a lot of improvements that need to be done outside of him so I don’t mind waiting for him to develop. If he can because a legit starter/ better than thj then I will be satisfied.

His body is like KP +50%, he's around 290 lbs. In case you ever wonder what KP would look like with a much bigger frame and bulked up, this is what he'd look like. Oh, yeah, he is not fast. Running up and down the court on a few quick plays seems to wear him out, but he plays better in the half court.

Doesn't he look like he was created from a gargoyle statue? Watching him play is even more amazing. I guess with his name Boban people must call him Bob, right? Or maybe Hephaestus.

We have to trade Timmy, Mudiay and Chi 2nd for a real talent. Tobias, Batum, Middelton, Jabari or Randle.

Ntilikina / Burke / Baker
Middleton / Lee / Dotson
Doncic / Hezonja / Lance
KP / Williams / Beasley
Kanter / O'Quinn / Noah
Strength and Honour!

I'd make that trade.

Frank is Frank right now until he has the 90 days this summer to turn into Giannis.

Burke plays at such random times and he was focused on getting guys shots. Appears his shooting wrist is still hurt. Overall he looks like a guy who knows he's not starting no matter what he does and that's too bad, really got the shaft this year after sacrificing and playing well.

knocks both mudiay and frank and makes excuses for burke...who would have guessed it.

You should know this poster by now. Kind of weird and lame to stake your posing reputation on a bust PG.

This game can be equated right down to the end of the 3rd quarter. Up until the end of the 3rd, the NY Knicks were pretty much exchanging shots with the Bucks, something the Bucks are totally fine with.

Why?

Bucks KNOW they have more talent than the Knicks. They're just pacing themselves until the 4th.

Tim Hardaway Jr hits a 3-pointer and ties the game as the buzzer sounds. Tim slow walks like Reservoir Dogs opening. Problem is, he hasn't accomplished anything. There's one more quarter.

In THAT 4th quarter, the Bucks separate the men from the boys...they're up by 10 with less than 4 min and the Knicks aren't tightening up their D. They're STILL exchanging shots.

Surprise, Knicks lose (not).

Who even says he's going to be a superstar? Most of the discussions are how it's to early to throw him under the bus and that he'll be a good defender at guard (with disagreement about PG vs SG) and mostly people are pegging like Doc Rivers/George Hill like numbers. I mean, there are the odd and infrequent "He'll be Kawahi or JRue" posts, but mostly I see "patience, he'll be a good glue guy"

You know, mixed in with the sea of posts about how much he's complete trash.
