No, they promised McCown the starting job already lol.

they were hot after cousins and now turn to plan B signing two qb's...sounds like you are right they have no interest drafting a young QB at least not with an early pick.

I've been saying that Macc is a chicken p*ssy of a GM. Has no stones to ever take a risk in the draft. He's gonna get Allen because if he busts he' can cover his ass by saying he was 6'5 with a rocket arm. I really hate the Jets.

weird to bring in two qb's to also draft a qb (i know mccown in a 1 year deal) but I can't believe they are just thinking short term with teddy...probably want to use the pick to fill other wholes.

not weird to draft a QB and have him sit a season. hence the one year deal for McCown.

Cousins would have been **** up their money. Jets dodged a bullet there.

Teddy isn't official yet, so who knows what's happening there. Missing out on one of these young QB's kinda sucks though. My attention now switches to Chubb and Nelson

then whats the need for Teddy? Since they guaranteed mccown the starting job just draft a QB to sit behind mccown, right?

and then sit behind whomever we draft i hope. Ive heard this scenario played out on radio all off season. drafting a QB and signing Bridgewater. but your right, not with resigning McCown. 1 year guy and 2 fighting for starting job. im guessing their not 100% on Teddy. as well they shouldnt be. Im still hoping for a QB. and I have NP with Allen. his combine was sick.

Thoughts?

Only like the Bridgewater signing if we're taking a QB at 6. Eww @ McCown being his "mentor." I mean, I guess he can mentor him but he'd also have to mentor the guy at 6. We don't really need McCown with Bridgewater, tho.

I don't see us picking a QB at 6 now. We need help at too many other positions.

Please don’t say that. I’m done with this franchise if they pass on a QB

It would be very Jetsian to draft a defensive player

What a **** joke!! WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY???? WTF are they thinking??? Didn't they learn a thing from Fitzpicksix??? If they sign Teddy...he needs to start!!! Making this announcement while they are trying to sign another QB makes no sense.

It is a sauce thing but, seems so Jets that I believe it already.

In other news...Jets sign RB Isaiah Crowell 3 year deal.
