Brady, Young, and Rodgers are just a few of the greats who sat multiple years before being handed the throne. maybe the Jets are actually going to develop properly for a change. Its a lot more than just picking the guy. I wouldn't worry about the signings. I think they still take a QB.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

What a **** joke!! WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY???? WTF are they thinking??? Didn't they learn a thing from Fitzpicksix??? If they sign Teddy...he needs to start!!! Making this announcement while they are trying to sign another QB makes no sense.

It is a sauce thing but, seems so Jets that I believe it already.

In other news...Jets sign RB Isaiah Crowell 3 year deal.

Man, this FA market really is mediocre this year.

Naah, Maccacgan just stinks.

Trash. So is Bowles. I am so done with this team. 40 years of nothing. Wake me when we get a QB worth watching.

Seems like teams are doing a lot of dumb things. I dont like some of the things the Giants are up to either.

If this was a normal team I’d believe you but I get the feeling why are “filling holes” to go “bpa” that isn’t a QB

This makes sense if you look at the draft. There can be a legitimate argument made that the Broncos (looking at that OL its pretty below average in four positions) draft Nelson just ahead of the Jets and set its left side for a decade. That could leave the Jets with the next 'tier' of QBs of its choosing--Mayfield/Jackson or maybe a --who I expect to bounce back at his pro day. Or a Lauletta--you can trade up in the 2nd if needed. I think the Jets aren't in bad shape.

We've reached the point now... do guys just don't want to play for the Jets or is Mac really that bad? There are still Jensen, Pugh, Johnson, Richardson, Williamson and our own free agents out there. But damn, armed with all that money, you can't help but be disappointed.

Like 15 mill a year so far

I’m good with it. We have the money, fills a need and takes taking a CB with sixth pick off the table

Just resign Mo Claiborne as our #2 CB and we are pretty much set at secondary.

A little on the older side at 28. But I'm not complaining. Great press corner.

Johnson is a really nice corner....big corner too. I like the pickup for the jets

According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, free agent Teddy Bridgewater has "a few choices."

She added that nothing is "imminent." A few hours ago it looked like Bridgewater was headed to the Jets but New York complicated things by signing Josh McCown. The Jets have the cap space to sign both, though Bridgewater would surely prefer to play somewhere he can start. Perhaps the Bills, who are looking to replace Tyrod Taylor, will get involved.

Yep. No Teddy. Year 2 Josh McCown. We better draft a QB at 6 or trade up and get one.

Whatever. I expect failure to be the norm for years to come. Another team with decades of lousy owners and mountains of crap that rolls down hill from there.

Awesome.

So what are we freaking out about again? Josh was a good soldier this year and the Jets literally HAVE TO spend 60 million this year. They were always going to give him the respect of being the leader in the clubhouse for the starting big. I'm sure Teddy or whomever we draft will win it by opening day

I don't believe we actually guaranteed him at all, but hey he's injury prone.
Just added Williamson, odds are to replace Davis. Good run stuffer and got some youth on his side.
