why yall even discussing 11-20 picks when we'll be drafting top 6, did we make some trade for another mid 1st rounder or something

If Sexton can show me he's a PG and not a scorer I'd be down, but I haven't seen vision.
he got vision but needs to improve there.he got that killer instinct tho as a scorer which makes him so intriguing. we need that badly.
He does have that, but Idk if he has vision. I believe in his penetration, but 1/10 what would you rate his burst/athleticism?
If Wall/Westbrook are 10's
Fox was a 9
Mudiay/Payton were 8's
Where would you put him? I'd say like 8.5. I don't think he's Fox fast.
8.5 ish. sexton got that acrobatic finishing ability though. i think sexton will be a better scorer/defender than fox. fox is a better passer

Realistically we should be discussing 7-10.

KOQ should opt into his contract if he really wants to be here.

If you look around the league at the Zellers, the Plumlees, KO walks away looking like one of the best backup centers in the league.

agreed, I have never said otherwise. They are a complimenting tool. But you don't care for any stat. That is where we disagree. They are valuable to use. I never have said they are more important than the eye test. They can be used to backup the eye test. That is all I have ever used them for.
Because I don’t wanna hear about a stat when I say something like Frank has no handle.
What is a stat actually doing for that observation?
Nothing.
That’s the point.
have i given you a stat about franks handle
usually I am giving stats that even though franks offense isn't up to par he is still productive on the floor because he is a ball mover and a defender. No matter where the NBA goes those are still valuable qualities to have in a guard. Sure he needs to develop his offense. But he was always going to struggle his first year or two offensively. We just need to see progress in the offseason.
I really don’t give a damn about that when I’m talking about his handle.

keep try where he is I don't need anymore scares. He scores a ton in short period of times. He doesn't defend but thats better than Mudiay who usually can't score and can't defend. At this point I just want to lose out. We should be changing nothing right now
Dame Lillard doesn't defend either. Burke isn't Rose on D, either so lets stop acting like he doesn't at least try on D.
the teams exposed him on switches in that entire 4th qtr. And lillard has gotten significantly better on defense this year. He's not good on defense but he isn't a target for the opposition. carlisle is a great coach he was going at Beasley and Trey down the stretch almost every possession. Trying to get switches and mismatches and they were scoring at will even when trey was dropping buckets.
He played 15 minutes...he scores a great amount but he doesn't defend and doesn't pass. And Rose barely could even get a job in the NBA because of his sucky defense and black hole tendencies on offense so that isn't a great way to prop up trey.
The issues are there. He's not the answer but he pretty damn exciting scoring for himself. He can shoot it thats for sure.
Knicks are using rest of season to evaluate Mudiay. Why do some of you have such a hard time understanding this? I keep seeing the same comments over and over. It's pretty easy to understand even if you don't agree with it.
I don't know what's gonna happen next season at PG position. I would assume it's going to be an open competition for starting PG which I think is a good thing personally.

I've finished my evaluation of Muddy....he sucks. Just plain sucks. In a year from now, he'll be out of the league. Are the Knicks not seeing this? Really?

I liked it too. Him missing but playing defense had the same net effect for the loss as Burke trading buckets with another guy not playing defense.
It's all good. (or bad)
What defense? He got outscored by every Mavericks guard so how does that make sense?
please sit the **** down the kid played 16 minutes. 1 minute more then burke.
This is some retardation. He got scored on by some guys. Other times his defense was decent. It was better than Burke's, or Mudiays or THJr. Not saying much, but there.
Oh, DSJr reminds me of Nate Robinson, only he plays less under control.
I'm glad they lost, I'm glad none of the Knick guards were that good in total this game except for flashes, it's good that Burke can put up points, they can use that, unfortunately, minus the height issue, it's like having another THJr. This is exactly like when the Knicks invested too much money in Jamal Crawford because "Omg, young creating guard", then wound up drafting Nate Robinson, who cost far less and could basically fulfill the same role of very good scoring 6th man at a far cheaper price. Knicks never learn. Well, hopefully they are smart enough that one of those guys should go. Knicks always have the crappiest overlap. They got Troy, but have LFT, Dotson, but they have Frank. etc. I know these aren't 1:1 in terms of position but just tired of guys who can defend but not score or shoot, and guys who can score but aren't good defenders. Well,. it's a process, they said they are rebuilding, lets see how effective they are at filling roles correctly while waiting for that very good player who creates, shoots and can actually play D to be the centerpiece of the team. Sorry KP, that isn't you. You're another really good role piece. Someone has to get you the ball.

All they doing is devaluing him and making his averages look worse which will not bode well during trade talks. Just sit the dude and start Frank or Iverson and develop them.
Should of traded this niqqa at the deadline. This team is so stupid I swear. We’re going to go from asking for a first to seettling for a late second.
