Re: Potential sleepers
We'll see on Carter, but I disagree. Doesnt seem to have length or plus athleticism, offense is good enough for a college senior. But I just dont see it.. His on-ball defense cant stop him from getting PnR'd and posted up repeatedly in the league. And his O wont keep him on the floor on the other end.
I dont see Pinson being a NBA player right now. He does nothing at even an above average level. His game is also pretty sloppy.

Pinson is not an NBA player, but that doesn’t mean he won’t get a chance.

What do people think about Chandler Hutchinson?

I think he's Evan Turner if his jumper is fluke, or Tobias Harris if its legit. I think he's a first round pick in the 20s

I like him. He’s a great finisher around the rim and has great pace to his game. He’s a solid passer, but turns the ball over a lot. His three point game is pretty good, but he’s more of a spot up shooter. My worry is his speed. He just kind of moves slow for the NBA, but has long legs and long strides. It worries me defensively in the NBA. I think he gets by now because he’s so big and long compared to guys he goes against. He does a good job is using his length to poke the ball out though. I don’t think anyone should expect him to be really good, but he is a guy that can be a starter day 1. The teams that will love him are teams that like to run because he’s such a good finisher in transition. It was the same thing with Josh Hart last year and the reason the Lakers picked him. Potential destinations for him IMO are the Hawks, Lakers, Nuggets, Nets, Pacers, Suns, Bulls. Could see a team like the Blazers, Hornets, Pelicans drafting him too. He’s just a wanted commodity because he doesn’t have many holes in his game and he’s ready right away. 6’8 with a 7’2 wingspan is a great multipositional size and he could likely play small-ball center in the right line-up eventually, especially since he’s a good rebounder and can block shots. I actually question if he can be even better in the NBA if he exclusively plays power forward because he can get a lot of bigs off their feet and drive by them.

He's gotten better as a player every year which is a major factor for why he will get drafted.

And he is still pretty meh, really I like watching Theo, but he isnt a NBA player
I think he can be pretty good in Europe, maybe get back to the league when he is 28-29

disgruntled we got the early exit? A&M stiffing perimeter defense was to much for a team with short guards that normally drain a lot of treys.Pinson had nothing to do with why they lost,if anything he was the reason the score wasn't worse.
It will be interesting to see if Roy's system made him look better than he is , but I disagree going by the passing high IQ etc and think if anyone on the team that's leaving gets a job in the NBA it's Pinson and maybe Johnson over Berry and others

Johnson ain't leaving he has a year left and my guess is that he will take it.
If he is, Cam Johnson is to me the best prospect in the roster by a mile, and I'd take him in the 1st or early 2nd if I were picking.
Theo is fun as a theoretical guy, but he can't shoot to save his life, doesn't have the size to be impactful on D, and he isnt consistent in his effort there to me, or his reads, and his passing is good, but considering the rest, is more of a cute story, also his athleticism package is pretty avg
I am not disgruntled I knew they weren't going to go far, had them losing in S16, just telling the through about how I feel about Theo as a prospect.
The team should be solid next year, no idea what's gonna happen with Felton, seems like he is out for good, but if Cam is back I like the roster
White-Woods
Williams-Robinson-Platek
Little-Black
Johnson-Brooks
Maye-Manley-Huffman
Gonna be a challenge with 2 Guards that aren't real PGs but the spacing in the frontcourt and the passing ability overall with Nassir balancing everything with his athleticism (I think he goes top5 in the 2019 Draft), makes it work really, and I like Coby a lot as a smooth scorer.

Sounds like you've done your homework.
Pinson is an NBA prospect and could easily be worth a mid- late 2nd or at minimum a camp invite and a 2-way contract. Given there is a lot of competition could end up in Europe due to the league going weak with everyone jacking threes.
Definitely think he will continue to improve and there is no reason to think he can't be a back up PG in the NBA.

Cody and Caleb Martin were mentioned a while back. Which one's the better prospect? I think it's Cody because of his all-around game, but will he learn to shoot well enough to make an NBA roster?

Jaylen Barford and Daryl Macon, both guards from Arkansas, will be on NBA teams next year, both guys can score and know who they are as players.

Caleb is much better. He’s the one that has made clutch shot after clutch shot.

I like Macon, but don’t think he makes the NBA. Barford I really like. Reminds me of Lance Stephenson. He has huge hands and can finish with one hand and can finish with contact. He’s an undersized shooting guard though.

While being undersized, I think Macon can do just enough as a heat check shooter to make a team's bench for a couple years. The Barford/Stephenson comp is a good one. Jaylen is absolutely devastating going to the rim and while he won't ever be a star I could very well see him as a 7th or 8th man on a playoff team.

According to Bosnian media, Penava will not enter draft before he graduate.

Which isn’t bad. He’s now on the radar for the NBA. Do you have a link?
