Plus he is a Michigan guy and I think Horst has a bias for that team.

I liked Mo when he was projected to be a late second rounder, but as a first rounder what does he do for you? He's a bad rebounder and a bad to mediocre defender (certainly doesn't protect the rim). That screams stretch big from the bench. Way to steep of an investment imo.

I would say he is a good to above average rebounder at about 7 boards per game and projects to get better at about 7 boards per game. He is fairly strong and will be a better defender than most people think. I would take a chance on him just based on his footwork and shooting alone. He has excellent form. I think his strength is underrated. I think he would be a great pickup in the late first round to early second round. He actually reminds me a little of Ersan but a little quicker and better footwork.

SO he's DJ Wilson :dontknow:

To compare him to DJ Wilson outside of playing for the same school is laughable. I think he will be twice the player as Wilson easily. I know that's not saying much but he is much stronger, a better shooter, and has much better footwork than Wilson ever will already. Not to mention a higher basketball I.Q. He also seems to have a very quick first step for a guy his size. I just think he is going to have a solid NBA career because a lot of translatable qualities.

I have no tangible take but 2 x |0| = 0. And I still think... hope might be a better term... that DJ can find an NBA role.

All I know is the Bucks are throwing away their 1st round pick, and a player like Robert Williams - who nbadraft.net has slipping to what would have been the Bucks pick - could have done a lot to improve their defense and rebounding problems while adding a top athlete.

Zhaire Smith is super underrated imo. Could easily see him going mid lottery.

The Bucks don't draft rebounding and defense. They draft DNA and All Length. Does he have those?

Yeah, I think he's the best athlete in the draft and combines that with real good length.

Oh man... Robert Williams is hard to rhyme. can we give him a nickname? He reminds me of a shorter young Dwight Howard, so how bout SuperBro? What - not politically correct?

If we buy a mid second rounder I'd like to get Jevon Carter. I see some Beverley in him.

Malik Newman is declaring and is hiring an agent. I would take a hard look at him if we keep our pick.

For those saying we'd be better off giving up our pick this year, Robert Williams is being mocked in that range and he's basically everything we need at center. He was my predraft obsession last year.

If we keep the pick I'm hoping for Bob, but I think we draft Isaac Bonga. Bucks player to a T. Not sure if in a good or bad way but I'd like it a lot more than our last three picks combined.

Much, much rather receive the pick this year.
