This is possible but would be pretty unlikely. They're only a half game up on the Kings but then at least 1.5 games up on everyone else, and they also have 3 games left against suck-basement teams, plus one against CHA, who's pretty bad and might be all-out tanking by that time. You might be tempted to think that BKN will be more motivated to win games, but BKN's roster is flat-out weak and they have much less talent than the Bulls even with a few players missing, and their schedule is tougher.
All the teams at the bottom of the standings are bad, and the Bulls rotation now is definitely not worse than most of them. So I'd bet on things staying where they're at now before I'd bet on the Bulls making up 1.5+ games on these other junk teams.
I disagree with this honestly. At MOST, I see the Bulls winning twice. And I think its more likely they get 1 or even none. The Nets may suck bad enough that we won't catch them. That one depends entirely on the home and home.
But the Kings and especially the Magic should pass us, even if we win a game. If we lose out, the Mavs are in play too.
