That would be a very bad trade imo. The purpose of entertaining trying to trade for Parker is to try to pair a potential breakout star with Kemba during his prime years. Trading for Parker is a gamble in itself considering his injury history and questionable impact so you wouldn’t want to lose the best player in the ordeal who wants to be here and take on a cap situation with Parker. That’s potentially losing Kemba for nothing.

I would feel hostile. I don't want to trade Kemba. Without him the Hornets brand is laughingstock and the games would be even less fun for years.

Parker is a huge risk. I would rather try to swing a deal for Wiggins. It's a financial hit but Parker is both, about to get expensive and not reliable to stay on the court.

If my choice is between losing Batum for Wiggins plus a pick vs losing Kemba for Jabari it's a no brainier. I keep Kemba and I get rid of Batum and bring in an expensive player but that guy stays healthy.

I actually don't think Jabari has anywhere close to that sort of value. Perpetually injured, and even when healthy no real three point game and not a plus defender.

Could be wrong, I haven't watched MIL at all post-ASB, but I wouldn't feel good trading non-trivial assets for him.

I think this would be very good return for Kemba. 3 first round picks plus a top 10 selected prospect from a very recent draft for Kemba on an expiring contract is a nice return.

The only way I would do any kind of Kemba trade is if it somehow involved Kawhi Leonard. Although it would be amazing of course if we could get him fro the Spurs and keep Walker on top of it. Doubt they would want any of our garbage though.

Count me among the contingent that would be fine with taking a risk on Parker. In fact, I think he's one of the better options out there to rebuild the team.

Put a healthy (operative word) Jabari on this Hornets squad and they'll have the most dangerous go-to scorer the franchise has seen since Glen Rice. 25/7/4 with high usage and solid efficiency numbers.

I believe he'll be playing on the qualifier next year so the Hornets would have a whole season to see if his knee's sound before committing long term money to him. If he stays healthy, he's a perennial all star worth every dollar they can pay him.

I appreciate the wishful thinking, but even if we did have the assets to get Kawhi he wouldn't re-sign with us anyways. If we were to jump to a top 3 pick we're best off just taking the prospect with the highest upside and go from there

Nah. He's good but I wouldn't care to have another big contract on the books for a player that would probably fit better in an earlier era.

No thanks. I don't know that it is real far off but I would rather have Monk and 11. Nothing against Fultz but if I am making a move for him I would want it to be part of a rebuilding process.

I would do Dwight for Hassan + 2020 first .
