No.

He has more advantage as a big guard than a 'small' forward.

Versatility at the wing positions is a valuable asset to have on our team. Dotson is certainly more capable of playing the SF compared to THJ (so is Frank). But, I agree, I like him a lot at SG. The fact that Dotson can play SF in a smaller lineup doesn't mean we shouldn't draft a SF, like Mikal, Knox or Miles. I also see Sexton as a possibility too.

Dotson appeares to be a little on the small side. Shorter than Frank. I’d like us to start a real SF. Mikal please.

What you and MP said is my sense as well. The shooting guard situation boils my blood.

yes i'm going to continue calling dotson a rapist for raping a girl in college.

it's a thing that shouldn't be ignored no matter how many men want it to be ignored.

You're right. I just looked him up. I'm getting 6'5"-6'6".

I thought he was taller. I'm still all on board for Mikal. But in a small lineup, I think Damyean is better-suited to play there instead of Tim.

You think Timmy is untradeable due to his contract?

Yeah. At least Dotson’s a capable defender.

Not untradeable but difficult to find a good match. IIRC, not to many PFs were signed to those ridiculous cap explosion contracts but that's where I'd want to look.

Maybe even Gallo since that saves a year of salary :o

Timmay can't be traded, I fear. But at least he's not Noah.

We should have kept Willy and rolled with Burke, Frank, THJr, Dotson, Mikal, Willy, Kornet, Mudiay, Hezonja, Jerami Grant and O'Quinn (we should sign him) plus KP when he comes back next year. That would have gotten us one more lottery pick, a super-talented very young team and we'd be set to contend for the 2019-2020 season.

You're telling me the Knicks gave someone an awful contract they can't trade and will likely have to attach a pick with to move?

You don't say.

He is JR Smith without the crack

In which case, that is actually quite a fine player in this day and age

One game and we slate Dotson for the NBA Hall of Fame. It's been a long season...I get it...

We got away with playing Shump at SF. :dontknow:

And looks to be a good rebounder for a wing.
