Rose keeps connecting on that left jab. Rose's strikes have a lot of snap to them and it looks like, to me, that she's quicker than Joanna.

You know, the funny thing is that that must be the first politically related comment I've made around in many many months. And there you were. Right on the money.

Khabib looked good, but not as dominant as the last few times I saw him fight. His ground game is absolutely insane.

I have no idea why he kept it standing up for so long though. He looks far from stellar in the stand up game.

He's definitely beatable, but that person will likely have to go through hell (Khabib's ground game)

Al is one tough S.O.B

He had 4 different opponents in the matter of a week. I think having to fight Al was a little anticlimactic for him. Khabib bloodied up Al's face just by flicking his left jab. Khabib will destroy Conor and he'll beat Tony too.

Imo Khabib was cautious of gassing in the championship rounds. He had opportunities to brutalize Al (especially when he flattened him in round 1 or was it 2?) but went for chokes instead, which is is a bit unprecedented for him.

He won every round with multiple 10-8's so i can't complain about lack of dominance. Of course, any opponent of his will have to capitalize in the stand up, but a lot of people act like he approaches every opponent the same way. He fought each of the last few guys differently. He won't try to exchange with Conor unless its later in the fight when Conor gasses (if Conor can survive the grappling early on) and Tony has beastly cardio so he probably goes all in on grappling imo (although that fight might not ever happen at this rate)

Plus, if you look at the strike stats, it was complete dominance. Al did nothing against Khabib.

Khabib landed a bunch of jabs, but his striking looked pretty bad. Especially the defense. If you can keep him on his feet, and not have to worry about defending the TD, he would get picked apart. Not many guys would be able to do that though. He called out Georges out after the fight. Seems like a bad matchup up for him. Well guess depends where George's is at this stage of his career. But he would pick him apart with the jab and stop the takedowns with his elite wrestling.
