LLJ wrote:Yeah, Nakamura coasting is a legit argument that was made back in his NJPW days. Tanahashi wrote about it in his book. Nakamura is basically guy who's like "I'll show up when it matters."
Nakamura doesn't need to have one great match, he needs to be more consistent with his effort week by week. The WWE can forgive bad or disappointing matches from great workers if they at least show consistent work ethic. I mean, AJ vs Jericho at WM 32 was pretty disappointing given the talent involved but nobody could really blame their effort. They just didn't find the chemistry.
