I would ecstatic if we traded our pick and a player to move up. 100% on board with that. Good potential player and clears salary.

Here is a great idea for the Bucks...
Trade Bledsoe for a 1st
Trade Midds for a 1st
Trade Parker to the Suns for our pick back?

Then package Snell and Maker/Wilson for anything worthwhile like a few 2nd round picks.

Enter Draft with 3 1sts.
Take Mikal Bridges (SF), Miles Bridges (SF) and Jalen Brunson (PG)

You lost me there. Why would anyone give anything of value to get back a net negative?

Why do I think they'll do something stupid like pick Mo Wagner?

Could be worse, we could pick Troy Brown.

Can we do a thread on the prospects most likely to be misses and then work out why the Bucks will draft them? Coz then I think we'll have our pick.

Only if we can bring Jay Wright into coach.

But really, at very most we’d add one first. People are attached to their lottery picks like a kid that found and wants to keep a lost puppy.

Just a pipe dream to think we’d add 2 lottos. We’d be better off trading for lottery picks from the past year or two that fell out of favor or haven’t hit it big yet.

Quoting myself, because I’m drunk.

At least **** Wright would get our starters to stop taking the long range 2’s way too often.

I'd love Robert Williams or Mitchell Robinson at #17

Robert Williams would be cool, but I have a hard time believing he'll be available. Still really high on Jontay Porter, think he could be a Myles Turner type-- floor spacer & shot blocker. Could also do a lot worse than Jalen Brunson, as he is clutch, tough, provides spacing and has a very high BBIQ.

Ayton
Doncic
Bagley
Jackson
M Porter
Bamba
Young
Carter
Bridges
Sexton

I think those guys are pretty much locks to go before 17.

Williams
Walker
Shai
Duval
Bridges (the other one)
Smith
Knox
Robinson

I think those guys are in the next tier.

Agree with the locks. Shai, Miles, Knox, Smith, Williams, Walker is the 2nd tier and one or two may be available for us. Not much interest in Duval or Robinson. Give me Porter, Brunson or Holiday over those two all day long.

Brunson and one of the Bridges. Should try and get at least another pick in the draft.

I like Brunson, but we already have him on the team in Brogdon.

I'd still really like Aaron Holiday, though maybe not at our pick.

Robert Williams is my hope and he would improve our rebounding a ton but I also don't think he lasts to 17.

yeah, emuney hinted at this a week or so ago. BUT, man, would Williams be a sweet sweet big to have in our mix. Like really really sweet. We don't have a single guy on the Bucks who has his combination of athleticism and grit. He's got an NBA body and NBA athleticism for sure.

Williams runs very hot and cold on his motor. Not sure what I've said about him recently, but yeah I don't think he'll be there. He's kind of an easy player to nitpick because of the motor thing, but you're not going to find a more complete athlete in this draft. Length, bounce, soft hands, touch, mobility -- all that is unquestionable.

Somebody will fall. They always do. Not always to 17, though.

Unless somebody slips that far (or we can trade up for them), or Hunter surprises by declaring, I'm going with Melton. I know I'm projecting improvement since last year that might not have happened, but I'm comfortable enough with what I saw last year. I like both his floor and his ceiling. We've got to start getting guys who can play the whole game.
