KP's answers at that press conference were "i want to get the **** outta here" answers.

He got rid of P Jackson so now he found a way to get rid of the owner. Just young Latvian gang banger doing gangster things.

Just wait and watch.

KP is easy to love. He's got a lot of poise and maturity at such a young age. It's impressive how well he handles the media. Hopefully Mills and Perry will get this draft and coaching hire right and create a stable situation that is trending upwards for him to return to.

If KP ever wanted to leave the Knicks, I would hope he would ask us to trade him away. I believe he wants to fix this ship here and win here. But he is not a ultimate alpha guy. He needs a Kobe Bryant PERSONALITY type to balance with him.

Ideally, it would have been awesome if we had a DSJ or Donovan Mitchell if you think about it.

He has no choice. The Knicks control him for the forseeable future.

This. DSJ and a greater extent Donovan Mitchell would have been perfect with KP.

Still bummed that we did not make a move to trade for Mitchell. Guy grew up a Knick fan and for some reason seems close with Frank.

“Being back home would’ve been cool, playing in front of friends and family,” Mitchell said Friday. “But in the same light, I’m happy where I’m at. They got a great rookie in Frank. He’s going to be a star. He’s figuring it out offensively. Defensively, he’s already there.”

We will fget Mitchell when he is an unrestricted free agent :D

It would be foolish but I would not put it past this guy's camp to do a Greg Monroe in just taking a QO and get the freedom to choose KP's team.

What hurt us was the timing of KP's injury. It was too late for the tank and we have zero chance in trading him at draft day to hedge the risks of hin leaving.

I am in the minority here but I would be willing to trade him for Doncic or Ayton straight up.

When KP is on our books with a max contract, the downside potential with him being injury prone will be great.

For the first time in a long while, we have someone we can build around. Feels good.
