Re: 2018 -- NBA Games Thread
Russell Westbrook has officially averaged a triple-double for the second straight season.
I don't know if we truly appreciate what we're witnessing with Russ. People can yell stat padder until they're blue in the face, but to average it for a season is insane no matter how you look at it.

Russ plays harder than any player at the NBA level.
That's probably not what the majority of basketball fans believe, but from what I have seen his motor is always going, and to average a triple double in back to back seasons is remarkable. I never thought he'd do it again after last season, but he proved me wrong, and I won't be upset if he wins MVP.

Hard to believe that OKC had three MVP caliber players at once.
That's some good drafting.
Everything after that was questionable...but great eyes for talent in that OKC/Seattle front office.

Crazy that Oladipo, Nate McMillan and the Pacers managed to accomplish what we couldn't in three tries. Steal a single playoff victory from LeBron:

Only bonus I see to not making the playoffs: Watching some other unsuspecting schmuck of a team get cLeBron'd.
James is incinerating the Pacers early. I feel like I'm looking into the sun.

But IND still managed to nearly take a 2-0 lead in the series. They are really fighting

Playoff Lebron is a different beast. I'll still never forget game 6 against the Celtics in 2012. That was the biggest game of his career and he dominated. Tonight looked like a carbon copy.

Despite all this coaching turmoil I’m grateful that the Wolves made the playoffs at least because they probably don’t deserve to be there. This is hard to watch, they literally can’t score...we got that 19th pick though!

If you're them, you gotta be pissed that you made it, stunk up the joint and basically wasted a FRP.
