So??

If you can't shoot, you don't shoot over 50% from 3pt land, period

So what you’re saying is that taking 1.9 threes a game and hitting 56% of them makes you a good shooter? Then what happened in the NBA?

Duh,

Yes, especially as the #1 option.

Show me all the other players that have shot 57%, I'll wait.

He was a bust in the NBA, which was the point of the response, if you were keeping up. But you weren't

Nope. Would rather just keep KP since he's a young all-star and the odds of hitting a future all-star are much much less than 100%

Idk man no matter how much i try to fight it i just get this weird vibe about him truly wanting to be here. He still seems distant to me and others feel the same also....

Read on Twitter

Im at least making that call. If we could get a top 3-4 pick for him and keep our lotto pick im doing it.

Pairing one of doncic or ayton or Bagley with either mpjr or bamba or mikal is greater than kp imo.

agreed, would definitely consider, especially with the injury history. I'd try to send him to the Suns for Josh Jackson and their 1st

At what point, and I’m trying to be nice here, are you going to realize that him struggling from the perimeter in the NBA is exactly my point about small sample sizes not meaning anything?

He was the number one scoring option. He wasn’t the number one three point shooting option. If he was such a great shooter why didn’t he shoot more threes? Why are you also discounting his rookie season of 25% when you don’t care about sample size lol

lol i probably should of actually worded this different when i said put the names in a hat i meant lottery guys that should still be available at 9 or in that range.

Ayton
Bagley
Doncic

Bamba
Porter

JJJ
Mikal

trae young (wild card)
____________

^ after this i dont think there is that big of a gap in talent disparity, put any of miles, sexton, sga, wendell, or knox in a hat and just pick one. You'd probably very much like who you picked, there all still talented players. The knicks are more than fine with the 9th pick we cant lose

When will you realize that being a good college shooter doesn't mean you will translate to the NBA 3. It has nothing to do with sample size.

His Career college 3pt % is 51%

You still haven't shown me a 57% 3pt shooter.

It's small sample, which means everybody should be able to do it. Right?

I want a guy who can shoot, play defense and is a team player so it's Mikal or Carter for me.

Yes. Unlike Mudiay, SGA can actually finish in the paint.

Not that much of a shooter. Has good percentages but he scares nobody. Also when he dunks the ball, you're going to be like "wtf that's Frank Ntilikina"...that is, it's not gonna look like DSJ, to put it mildly.

However, I like his attitude, in terms of being an overlooked guy who took control of the squad, and made it run. He's not bad defensively, and he knows how to attack the basket and draw fouls using technique and skill. Guess the worry is about his athleticism, but we'll let the FO figure that out, but I feel like the superstars today have shown us you can dominate without amazing athleticism by just being good at the game.
