Didn't see the game, what were they?
I know the other day when he batted Conforto and Gonzo as pinch hitters against a lefty was a bit questionable, but it worked out so no one cared.
3rd and 2nd 2 out....nido up (noah on deck)
He pinch hits for nido with Jay Bruce....clearly the brewers were going to walk him. So they did. They Noah came up and got out.
I think you have two options there....if you are going to let noah stay in let nido hit because they probably pitch to him. If you are going to pinch hit for nido and they walk that pinch hitter you have to be comfortable pinch hitting for Noah.
Ron and Gary were both shocked he basically wasted bruce because they intentially walked him and let noah hit with bases loaded and he got out.
Noah was already at 90+ pitches too so he didn't have long in the game.
I think it was man on 2nd and two outs when Calloway PH Bruce for Nido, but I could be wrong. Anyhow, we still had Gonzo Cabrera and I think another lefty on the bench so it really wasn't a problem from what I could see.
that isn't correct

flores walked and rosario was hit by the pitch. Reyes grounded out but both runners advanced.
It wasn't just me...Gary and Ron were baffled and look...
It was a bad move...even good managers make bad moves. But it was a bad move. The most important thing is we keep finding ways to win even when it doesn't look like we are going to. Sign of a good team.
