Has anyone been interviewed yet? It's been 3 business days and 5 total days since they fired Jeff. I would hope interviews are actively taking place by now.

If the Knicks are serious about development and actually building through the draft you have to pick Stack to be the coach. I think he's the only one you could seriously put into a Brett Brown situation.

I think all those that are pro Stack have a blind spot for an important element- Experience.
Stack coached 50 games in his entire carrier as head-coach. (If I am not mistaken).
He should get all credit for his g-league teams' performance, however out of all the coaches mentioned - he is one of the least experienced in terms of actual in-game/season coaching.
The question IMO regarding management decision to possibly go for Stack, is if they are ready to not only develop a team - but also be willing to develop a coach as well.

I brought up the argument that older coaches are more win now. However Nate McMillan has something to say about that.

He's worked with young guys before. He just never had to at NBA level. I don't think that necessarily means he can't do it.

Mills and general manager Scott Perry sound as if they are open to a young coach they can mold more than someone with Woodson’s veteran credentials.

“I think in New York, it’s better to have done this before,’’ Woodson said. “You can ask Derek Fisher that. I like New York, but New York is a tough place to coach.’’

Clippers assistant coach Mike Woodson will interview for Knicks head coaching job Wednesday in LA, per source. Woodson coached the Knicks from 2012-14. He also coached Atlanta Hawks.

Yeah im opening up to the fact that age doesnt matter. Im just thirsty for a young up and coming coach.
