thb, it seems like you're watching Frank but you aren't seeing Frank. :)

Guess not but you can't tell me he's doing things that most modern pgs do. And before you tell me about development, you're right he can develop. But most players really just perfect what they already do well to a level of consistency. I've mentioned this before. Frank isn't gonna wake up a totally different player.

Today he doesn't break people down of the dribble and often picks it up when challenged , tomorrow he develops the understanding that you can simply turn one side to your defender and back them down while keeping your dribble like Magic and Mark Jackson used to do. That's development and trust me, it's a big deal but it's not really changing the skillset. The biggest developmental phase to me is that moment when a player realizes that contact is thier best friend. He's 6'6 by now, maybe once he adds some muscle he'll realize he should be initiating contact, drawing fouls on straight line drives.

But still, I just don't see our offense as ever being a penetrate and kick offense while Frank is PG. Or really any type of system where the pg is the main play initiator. With Frank at PG you're always gonna be looking for that play initiator at another position. He'd be perfect with a Kobe/Lebron/Harden.....get me the damn ball type.

For the record, I do love this type of PG. Obvious ALOT had to do with the superstar on thier teams but I typically have the utmost confidence in the play type when it comes to titles but I also recognize the nbas changed and the last pg to win like this was Mario Chalmers. So my argument is more about recognizing what you got, and what you'll then have to look for to compliment.

Dont remember who but a few months ago someone said jrue holiday which I think is a reasonable expectation if he becomes better than that then great but that's all I think he can become tbh and jrue is a very nice player

This guy has worked with Kyrie and last summer worked with Oladipo.

Maybe Frank should give him a call

13.0 PPG
5.0 RPG
6.5 APG
1.8 SPG
45% FG%
37% 3PT%
78% FT%

Not sure what that amounts to in TS% terms but def north of 50

I’m expecting a leap from this kid IF they commit to playing him

Honestly didn't have a problem with his minutes as a whole last year, was more annoyed on how it was distributed. 20 mpg was fine. But yeah I expect a bump next year

One of the goals for next year should be expanding Frank's role on offense. We should make him one of our focal points so it can speed up his growth on offense.

he is expected to be raw, but he has all the intangibles and all the reports say he has a strong desire to improve (which is NOT a given, unfortunately)

We need Frank to use his athleticism more. We know he has it. He has sick dunks in warmups.. Like tomahawks and windmills lol...

If he comes out next year, explodes by people and throws down dunks, I’ll literally **** my pants.
