How has Westbrook had a better game? Utah is definitely better than Indiana but Russ has a WAYYY better supporting cast.

lebron 44 - 10 -8 with 5 tos and +2
russ 45 - 15 - 7 with 5 tos and +10

and russ brought his team back down 20 in the 3rd, facing elimination on a team with no momentum or flow against the best defense in the league in ppg. we'll see lebron's shot for the next 45 years. but russ' heat wave is by far more impressive and important. game was tied when james hit his, admittedly, incredible shot. they both went hero. but russ went superman to lebron's batman.

LeBron 14-24 - 44 pts
WB: 17-39 - 45 pts

15 less shots to get one less point. I'm not going to debate who had the better game but that's a pretty big difference you left out.

Basically you’re telling me for Utah to have a chance at winning this series, Gobert will have to play every single minute of the game?

I want this series to go 7 but I just don't think OKC can win in Utah. If they do though, the Thunder are winning this series. Coming back from a 3-1 deficit is considerably easier when you have homecourt advantage.

I can’t believe Westbrook was making those jumpers near the end too - like wow... I was like screaming “no!!!” everytime he was shooting and then they would go in and my family (who usually doesn’t watch these games) was like “he’s good, why don’t you want him to shoot??”...

Oh I’m so happy they won.

That was a great comeback, maybe this can push the Thunder to win 3 in a row and take the series

If Gobert doesn't go out with that foul trouble, neither PG or RW are getting to the rim like that. That's what turned the tied.

I had the Jazz in 6. Still sticking to that.

It was both Pg and Westbrook that made that comeback. Westbrook hit big shots but he didn't do it by himself

That doesn't make what I said any less true. Okc as a team isn't really very good. They just have enough star power that they can sometimes win on talent alone.

Why not just praise Russ without needing to bring up Lebron?

That's exactly what I did at first. I wasn't the one who brought up LeBron. There's no hostility here, all I'm saying is that I think LeBron definitely had the best performance of the night though Russ was a monster.

I was rooting for Russ because I didn't like how he was being portayed be fans and some in the media, but I also felt that Lebron had the better game. Paul George also played a vital role in OKC's comeback.

UTAH's system is really nothing without Gobert. I hope the Jazz realize that. Synder is going to have to manage his minutes much better.

Also why the hell does Jerekbo even get minutes. This guy is JR Smith levels of bad.

Nope, because he didn't put his team in that position in the first place by playing like garbage the first two quarters.

i'm new to this board. is everyone this sensitive about lebron? i gave lebron plaudits in the other thread and this one. the games were 2 hours apart. lebron had a major goat level game. i just feel westbrook had a bigger game against bigger odds. it is a credit to lebron to use him in the comparison, not an insult.

ok ,them. why don't you show us where lebron had an equal game facing elimination down 20 then? because he's been down 20 before.

It's more like you're using Lebron to elevate Westbrook which makes it seem weird.
