Same things happens with all superstars

Lebron has haters

Westbrook has haters

Harden has haters

Durant has haters

The list goes on...But too be honest it what makes basketball fun for the fans sides. Cuz people debate and go at it. Makes things more interesting IMO

Nope, because he didn't put his team in that position in the first place.

ok ,them. why don't you show us where lebron had an equal game facing elimination down 20 then? because he's been down 20 before.

Are we talking about tonight's game or their respective careers and accomplishments?

That's going to be a losing battle for WB.

Missed the game and saw the box score - Melo with only 25 minutes and 6 shots???

Did he finally get benched???

I'm happy that Westbrook took over and OKC won. But how much confidence do you have that OKC can win in Utah?

I'm at about 0.

The Jazz had won 3 games in a row and were up by 25. Gobert going out was a huge turn, but the Jazz became complacent in general. This is a good experience for them.

I just got back from the arena, wow! Unreal experience. Westbrook is flat out electric and his energy revived a dead arena, then he fed off the energy of the arena in reciprocation.

I'll have to read through this thread tomorrow, but I'm guessing it's Salt Lake City.

I think you might be the sensitive one. You said Westbrook had a better game, someone disagreed, you felt the need to defend your position. They responded accordingly. Dont lecture the board on a typical debate that you could see in a thousand other spaces.

The fact that OKC was even down 25 to begin with in a do or die game is concerning. Westbrook putting up 40 shots and going god mode isnt a satisfactory way to win.

I expect this series to end in 6

It was clear that Westbrook had nothing to do as long as he was looking at Gobert in the lane. He took advantage of the situation, but nothing was happening tonight without the foul trouble on Gobert. That's the real story.

I submit that the same exact thing happened in game 2 and 3 when Adams got in foul trouble.

Adams isn't as critical to the Thunder as Gobert is to the Jazz, imo. Gobert has been shutting down OKC all series.

Yeah, I have to agree with you. Gobert definitely has a MUCH more significant impact on the Jazz’s success on defense and on offense than Adams.

This is what it takes for Westbrook to be locked in. He honestly acts so arrogant and I think it takes games like this to knock him down a notch and bring him back to Westbrook ball. His bread and butter is finding open seems and driving hard to the rim or stopping on a dime and pulling up for a free throw line jump shot and taking big 3s. He should honestly reserve his 3 game for when it is an absolute last resort such as this.

The thing that George and Westbrook have going for them is that there are plenty of minutes to spread around in the playoffs so BOTH of them can get in rhythm a little easier.

It looks like the recipe is attacking Gobert early and often and to try and get him in foul trouble.

Welcome. The vast majority of people on this board really dislike the playing style of Russell Westbrook. A lot of people dislike LeBron too, but saying positive things about Westbrook will get you a lot of backlash no matter who you’re comparing him to. Oh, and whatever you do, don’t say anything good about Melo ;).

thanks for sharing your thoughts. and also for lecturing me to not lecture. but i think by the team icons next to your name we both know where the sensitivity lies.

Did Westbrook and PG13 really attempt 65 of their team's 89 shots?

The 4th one was a phantom call. Also PG is getting away with pushoffs all series, would of been a sweep of if they called them since your start.

Wait, didn't Russ just start crying like a little child last game and went around trying to start fights because he couldn't deal with losing?

If you want to bring up what they've accomplished in their careers, the discussion is a non-starter.
