This thread is gold already!

Also, can we lock these polls when the games start?

No I don’t have bias. You are overrating a young Philly team. 6 or 7 game series.

Philly has two top 20 players. Celtics don't even have one.

They were lucky to be matched up with a completely incompetent coach in Round 1.

The Heat probably beat the Celtics if they matched up.

And if anyone is young its the Celtics lol. Your two best offensive players are 21 and 19.

Did you think the same way in the OKC series? Look how that turned out. Lol

I’m guessing Simmons vs Morris is going to be the initial trash talking moment of the series.

This is just patently false

No its not lol.

In fact, Bill Simmons on his podcast has been arguing that they're both top 15 players.

You're quoting Bill Simmons. Come on man. Neither are top 5 at their position and Simmons fringe top 10 at pg

This. Exactly this

After the sixers lost in game 2, a Boston mod said Miami was a bad matchup for the sixers and they would have been better off playing the Bucks. So, which is it?

I'm not that Boston mod. I desperately wanted the heat in round one. The bucks are a much better team than them

The two most humble, classy and conservative fan bases get to meet in the league now.

Come and get it Philly. We may be down to like 1 starter by the end of the series but we never quit.

You lost all credibility with this statement.

Even Celtics fans would laugh at you.

Would LOVE to see you name 5 Centers better than Embiid and 10 PGs better than Simmons.

Sixers in 6.

The Celtics are a nice little story this year with overcoming all these injuries, but they got taken to the limit by a mediocre Bucks team. The Sixers are FAR superior to the Bucks.

Clock is about to strike midnight on the Cinderella Celtics.

Why is ajones on the hook for what that mod said? Can't the mod just be wrong? And that's not me defending the "Sixers are overhyped" narrative.

Not really. They had the same record, however Bucks were 17-29 against .500 teams this season, Heat 20-24.

I had the Celtics losing to the Sixers before game 7 tonight. But now that I am high on a win I am going to say Celtics in 7 again. And if we lose it's due to not having Irving and Hayward, you all know the drill now on real gm. If we win, it's Brad Stevens being a genius.

Depends on the status of Jaylen Brown though this series too, can't lose another one.

However, just not sure the talented young Sixers are ready for Semi Ojeleye.

Based on what? You're acting as if the Sixers got all of their wins this season against weak opponents when in fact they went 24-23 against +.500 teams, which is the sixth best record in the league against such quality opponents... Also with consideration of net rating and recency, even without the streak, the 76ers have been quite formidable.

Cool opinion tho.

Nope. Sixers are superior in terms of point differential and SRS this year. The Celtics have played above their heads and were lucky to win the amount of games they did. Obviously you're down Irving also for the playoffs.

This is not a typical 55 win 2 seed vs. 52 win 3 seed at all.
