I feel a hell of a lot more confident now after seeing that Philly defense.
Yeah I was so let down by Simmons, I thought we were preparing ourselves for Magic/Lebron hybrid there!
I understand, my comments weren't directed towards every Celtic fan. But at the same time rozier and Tatum are playing at a level they wouldn't be sniffing if Hayward/Irving were here. That's not to say what the celtics are doing isnt amazing, but you guys were the 3rd seed without Hayward all season and kyrie for a big portion. So I would say that you guys should win at home, and game 2 will be the test. Need to protect home court.GrandTheftRondo wrote:RipPizzaGuy wrote:Man, there's going to be a lot of celtics fans eating crow if philly comes back to win.
Its 1 game, at home, against a VERY young team whose never been here before.

Why would we eat crow? We’re the underdogs in this series and should lose if Philly are who their fans think they are.
And forgive us for getting excited. We’re missing 3 of our starters. We really have no business even being 1-0.

Celtics objectively have the better future then Philly.
This is hindsight. At the time, Fultz was almost a unanimous first pick, (yes, yes, I know, smartest man ever Danny Ainge always knew that Tatum would be the second coming and was always going to pick him no matter what), the point is that every ranking at the time had Fultz as #1.
Of course, it looks bad now since Fultz got a case of the ultra-yips.

you can still have good games in the decline, look at kobe's last game in his career

Would Hinkie make that deal? I think not. Thus Colangelo screwed them

A lot of those 3s were wide open. I don't think that will happen again.
Also don't think the Celtics can keep shooting 47% from 3.

The point is, that no matter what, the 76ers never have Tatum instead of "Bustz" as you originally wrote. Cs just pick him #1.

Scary terry u ready?

Tatum+future 1st for Fultz??
Fultz is a huge bust, zero pride. He is the#1 pick SMH, how can he watch Simmons Tatum out there, and think "This is totally fine. I totally don't look like a scrub laughing it up while my peers are contributing"

So was all the **** talking you did "classy"? Is it okay for you but not others? Yeah it's just one game but you ran your mouth nonstop, have to expect to get some back.
