Both Vargas AND Harvey got blown to smithereens.
Just dump Harvey. Dump Gonzales. Dump Reyes.
conforto and bruce couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat....
this team is a sinking ship right now...

i bet your response was the same, it's not the hype you don't see ... you just don't see yourself being patient.
i'll give you one better, reyes' breakout 2006 season ... on june 11th he was hitting .240.
i bet you said the same garbage of "i don't see the hype"
I was 13 and Reyes was my favorite player actually. In a way there are similarities between the two, but pitching is a lot different in 2018 then it was 12 years ago. Way more advanced scouting and analytics. Rosario has zero plate recognition and the entire league knows that.

lol you can't say pitching has changed without giving out any examples, but i wouldn't either because a 95 mph fastball today was a 95 mph fastball 12 years ago, and it was a 95 mph fastball 100+ years ago.
so please explain how has pitching changed.

Less about the actual pitches and more about scouting, gameplanning, shifted defenses. Rosario’s predictable.

what you just said has nothing to do with pitching.
pitching is always the same, you just have no idea what you're talking about right now.

Ok talk to me when Rosario doesn’t have a walk rate in the 2s.

Trade for Colon, imo. Even if one of Wheeler, Harvey, Matz, or Vargas bounces back, it isn't enough. Citi Field is his park.
Give Vargas one more start. I don't think he has it though. Then give Lugo a starting role. You have to keep riding with Matz and Wheeler, imo, and just hope they give us QSs.
Send Harvey to AAA for the rest of May. He is going to have to change his whole pitching style. He isn't a power pitcher anymore. It's a shame. When he was on top of his game, he's the guy you'd want on the mound in Game 1, even over Thor or DeGrom. He just had that eliteness and confidence.
And the catcher position.... that one can't be fixed in house. But I don't know who they have to offer with their depleted farm.
