Sam Darnold is NOT off to a good start when turnovers were the biggest concern:
https://jetswire.usatoday.com/2018/04/27/sam-darnolds-development-hinges-on-ability-to-shake-turnover-bug/

He fumbled his FIRST SNAP

http://firstglobalnews.com/uh-oh-darnold-fumbles-opening-snaps-in-1st-jets-practice/

And it is reported he fumbled TWO MORE after that.

Jets coach Todd Bowles left open the possibility that first-round rookie Sam Darnold could win the starting quarterback job in training camp.

Bowles confirmed that veteran Josh McCown remains the team's starter but said Darnold could change that if he outperforms McCown during training camp. Darnold was drafted to be the Jets' franchise quarterback but would be the youngest starter in league history if he gets the nod in Week 1. Coming off an erratic sophomore season at USC (13 interceptions), it might be better for Darnold's long-term development if he spends his rookie year learning from McCown, who has been in the league since 2002

Lmao overreaction much?
Day 1 of rookie camp full of players who won't make the roster. 2 out of the 3 fumbles weren't even on Sam himself either.
He also went on to throw some elite heat after.
Shirts and helmet day.
Point of this is to see how much of the playbook Sam absorbs.

Our fanbase needs to stay behind this kid. It's like the system is against him after that cop interaction.
Quick to dish out a warrant and now have to take it back.
He needs support but our fanbase wants to crap on him.
What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Not the reverse.
Let's hope all works out, he only miss a game or 2 then he comes back to being a top playmaker and helping Sam be great.

Exactly what I said y'all had to look forward too. Dude lost 9 fumbles and had 12 total in 13 games last year and was hit less than 75 times total.

Darnold will set records in futility unless he is benched.

Ok cool, whats the winning lottery numbers too while you're at it?

Lemme take a shot at this, Saquon Barkley will set records as the least yards per carry of all time unless he is benched.

Oh sorry, don't like when I blindly **** on a draft pick of the other NY team based on essentially nothing? Oh cool me too.

Y'all so salty. If you actually liked the pick you wouldn't be responding like this. Out here flexing room convince yourself. Darnold will be fine, he's just a walking turnover and y'all have to live with that. 30 TDs, 20 turnovers.

He's 20. He might suck. He might not. I believe Barkley has questionable yards after contact stats. Every prospect has flaws. Every successful player has flaws.

You aren't really saying anything all that special.

Not really salty, just tired of Giants fans **** on the Jets because they hate the Jets for no reason. Lol. Like he's trying to be slick about it but its so obvious.

It is not blindly, it is a known issue for your pick and it is happening from the FIRST snap. Jay Cutler part 2.

Barkley is a BEAST by all accounts, but the debate will be if it is worth investing that in a RB.

I don't understand why Giant Fans are so concerned with Sam Darnold. He's on the Jets, not on the Giants. Putting him down is just asking for bad karma on Barkley. No Giant fan would want to see him go down with a season ending injury. Crapping on another player is just asking for bad karma.

Return to New York Knicks
