Holiday's defense was amazing in that game. Could he play his way into the top 10?

So Houston has run the exact same play like 5 times already this first quarter where Harden isolated and just drives straight at Rudy Gobert while a cutter sprints in from the weak side wing as soon as Gobert takes an angle.

I mean it’s playground basketball. Dead simple. But exactly the type of thing D’Antoni excels at, and Houston is on its way to a blowout as a result.

I really think Houston has the highest ceiling of any team in the league right now. 41 Point quarter and on pace for 70 at the half while it looks like they will hold Utah to around 40. When they’re engaged and locked in on both ends like this they are scary.

Nah, Golden State is still miles ahead IMO ceiling wise. Houston's good, but they don't have close to the overall talent to do what Golden State does semi regularly when healthy.

But realistically Houston is the only team that you can really see beating GS in a series if healthy and no suspensions for G.S.

Houston can. Realistically a team will need HCA to beat GSW now with Durant on the squad. Doesn't mean they will but they can.

They've also started running something I've only see them do once all season, and I think it was by accident then lol. Jazz denying the dribble handoff from Capela to Harden coming from the right wing (something they've started doing a ton of in the playoffs, was McHale's bread and butter set), so Harden back cuts, and Capela makes the pass and immediately rolls hard to the rim, effectively creating a PnR situation where Harden is already in front of his man with only the center to guard both Harden and Clint

I’ve been probably the biggest Rondo hater on this board the last few years, but he’s been unbelievable these playoffs. He’s got such clear, glaring flaws, but at the same time his strengths are so strong that when he’s engaged and has the motor running he is able to overcome them.

So, if we count AD as a four (I know he's been playing five all playoffs but play along with me) Capela has been the best center in the playoffs pretty obviously, right?

I have been hating on Rondo for years and then he joined my team and now he might be my favorite player in the league.

When you go from years of watching guys like Tyreke Evans play point guard for your team you starting appreciating basketball IQ so much. Having high IQ players is so underrated.

Now if we could only get some length on the perimeter.

Yeah, KD is always going to be able to shoot right over him, but he's not letting KD get to his spots at all. Kind of like how CP3 defended him in the playoffs awhile back, except Jrue isn't at quite the height disadvantage

It's actually amazing how well he's able to contest his shots actually. He's almost blocked him a couple of times, and he's pretty much always got his hands way up there around the release of the shot. He's a big, athletic guard with great length. Perfect KD defender, really.

With my stance on KD known one thing I look forward to in the WCF is him trying to post Harden or Paul. They'll give him fits.

For all the criticism Paul took for never making the Conference Finals he is going to breeze into them this year while playing some of the worst playoff basketball of his career and giving 60 percent effort.

Paul gets crap for not taking risks. This year he's being risky and having some less than optimal results, and now he's not playing as well.

I think the talent is closer than it really seems.

Steph/KD vs. Harden/Paul - advantage Warriors but we're still talking about the league MVP and another top 10 or 12 player in Paul.

Green/Thompson vs. Capela/Gordon - advantage Warriors but it's also pretty close. Capela might actually be the best player out of the four.

Bench vs. Bench - I actually take Houston's bench and role players over the Warriors at this point.
