NOTE: A big part of 76ers 0-3 hole is the poor play of Ben Simmons and their under-performing 3-pt shooting.

Read on Twitter

Celtics stifle 76ers from beyond the arc

the 76ers become much easier to guard when their shooters can’t hit anything, which is exactly what happened in Game 3, as the Celtics limited Philly to just 9-of-30 shooting from distance.

Simmons is the only player on the roster that can consistently create shots for both himself and his teammates, but without a decent jump shot, even he becomes easier to defend when Redick and others prove incapable of keeping the defense honest on a given night.

The Celtics can simply pack in the paint and dare Philly’s struggling shooters to beat them.

If they continue to shoot 9-for-30, Boston can probably live with that.

It does seem inevitable...one last time.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Boston wins the East next year once they get Kyrie and G Hayward back.

It's a shame we won't get to see that match-up this year in what is LeBron's possible final year in Cleveland.

The amount of disrespect Lebron just had for Toronto was hilarious. Can't wait to see him and Tristan Thompson sweep Al Horford... If the Celtics don't choke this 3-0 lead that is.

I dunno know if anyone caught this but a Sixer was at the line in the 3rd quarter and as he was shooting, Al flailed his arm in the air to distract him. Smh. Ohhhhhh Alice, I certainly hope you don’t tear that breast before your vacation in 2 weeks.

Cavaliers Rumors: Rodney Hood Refused to Enter 4th Quarter, Angered Teammates

According to The Athletic's Jason Lloyd, Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue attempted to substitute Hood in for LeBron James with a 30-point lead with seven minutes, 38 seconds to play. However, the fourth-year player refused to enter the game, angering his teammates.

"This is the playoffs," an anonymous Cleveland player said. "We're trying to win a championship. This isn't about you."

Hood was the only guy not to play in Game 4.

He had a rough series, going just 1-of-9 from the floor and scoring two points in 39 minutes through the first three games. The struggling guard had lost his spot in the rotation to rookie Cedi Osman, and before Monday night's game, Lue made it clear he expects more out of the 25-year-old.

"Rodney, he could be better," Lue said, per Lloyd. "He knows that."

In 10 games this postseason, he has averaged 4.6 points on 39.6 percent shooting and 13.3 percent from beyond the arc.

Hood was lobbying to play offense only when Lue informed him that this isn’t the NFL and you have to play both sides of the ball....

Him and JR (Smith) are seriously wondering if that’s possible...and discussing it on the bench while eating crazy amounts of skittles...(Earl Joseph loves candy like Lamar Odom..)..
