All the talk about stopping LeBron but the Pacers took it to 7 by neutralising Love and the others.

More-so the Cavs just missing a ton of open looks actually

Their shooting %s on open shots went from terrible in the Pacers series to unsustainable in the Raptors series. We'll likely see their 3pt shooting come back down to earth, but the Pacers didn't really do anything special, Cavs were just missing everything

Lebron will get wind of this Morris thing and watch and see what happens. Lebron is passive aggressive and will make a point to stick it to Morris every time he is on him.

Celtics would have been better off letting sleeping dogs lie. When Lebron gets mad or plays with a chip on his shoulder it’s scary.

Think it's both. There's no question they shut down Love in the post. There's also no question the roleplayers missed a ton of open looks. Whenever LeBron has been on weak rosters letting him get his against single coverage and shutting down the rest of the team has had some success in the past

No one in Boston is afraid of the Cavs. Coaches, Players or Fans. Hope Cavs bring their best. They are going to need it.

I hope he goes for 60. I dont want his teammates getting touches, and I want Lebron exerting a ton of energy trying to score.

Thompson vs Horford in the playoffs:

TT: 12-1 record..... 10-10-1.....59% fg
AH: 1-12 record.....13-4-3-1....51% fg

I think Thompson will get some minutes this series because of his dominance over Horford. Love does very well against Horford in the playoffs as well. Horford is the type of player than can look really good against players he matches up against, but really bad against players he is a bad matchup for like Love and Thompson. I think people are overlooking this. Horford is as shook going up against Love and TT as Toronto is against Lebron.

Love vs Horford in the playoffs:

KL: 8-1 record.....21-13-3....41% fg...51% 3 fg (on 9 three point attempts per game)
AH:1-8 record.....13-4-3......48% fg...38% 3 fg

I don't see Steven's changing this much. If this trend against Horford continues the Cavs will finish off the Celtics quickly in 4-5 games.

This. Because on defense Lebron will play free safety on Semi/Morris and try to stop everyone from getting to the rim. Try to get Lebron doing everything and let the other players go to sleep.

Is it a hot take to say Celtics have a better chance of beating the Cavs then the Rockets do the Dubs?

I doubt he's that stupid. Bron will still pick his spots and look for weaknesses in the D. He knows how to set up his teammates and can anticipate how the defense will react, thus leaving someone open. If they force him to play 1 on 1 the whole, he'll just run more of those Hill - LBJ pick n rolls or screen to get someone like rozier on him every trip down the floor.

But I wouldnt be surprised if BOS starts game 1 on a 24 - 4 run and completely blows cleveland out
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

So happy that there will finally be a game played today. No matter which team wins, the hot takes will be aplenty.

The pacers had size and speed to go at love. He couldn’t handle turner or Thad. Love has never once had an issue against al horford Aaron Baynes or Marcus Morris.

Not that hot of a take. Rockets have zero shot outside or KD or Steph getting hurt.

Somebody posted earlier showing the Cavs shot better vs Indy than Tor on open shots

That's not true though so they either posted false information or you misread it

The one thing both of these players have in common is they've been sent home every time they've faced LeBron in the playoffs.

The one thing both of these players have in common is LB was a VERY big fav for them to go home

Honestly it's hard to say. I think Tatum and Brown proved the elite talent is there, and the Cavs are many times worse than the Dubs. CP3 played old for a lot of the season but elevated his game recently.
