My inbox is flooded with this rumor. Fultz, Saric, RoCo and the LA pick to the Spurs for Leonard; Sixers then sign Paul George. I don't know where this came from. Can anyone confirm this? What would the Sixer's line up look like? They would need another starter to either play at SG or PF.

Anybody can make these trades when you're loaded with assets. Colangelo isn't Danny Ainge. He lucked himself into a great situation because of Daddy. However, he's really mishandled a lot of those assets. He could've stayed pat and taken Fox or Tatum at 3. Instead he takes a potential bust and gave up a valuable draft pick in the process. He held onto Okafor one year too long and gave him away for a guy they cut a few weeks later. Instead, he should've traded him his rookie year when he averaged 18 and 8. He also gave away Noels for nothing and waited too long to trade him just like he did with Okafor. He is not a good gm

Packages like that are what landed is here. I want to PAIR Frank's Defense with Kawhi & Porzingis Defense. NOT subtract it. #9 and a Top 5 protected future 1st along with other assets should be enough. Otherwise just let it go.

I dunno. Frank may turn out not as special as some think, the #9 could be D. Mitchell... could be Sweetney, and Hardaway's production vs salary keeps me up at night. Spurs might actually bite on a package that included Frank as Parker's replacement and it would be hard for me to not bet on a Burke/Mudiay, Dotson, Kawhi, O'Quinn, KP lineup. I could kinda see why no one one wants to give up on Frank's potential but I've always felt like he'd need Pop to achieve it. Who knows, maybe Fizdale works magic but the Hornaceck experiment has me somewhat unclear on Frank.

It would be insanely ironic if two of the weirdest injury sagas got traded for each other.

I can't think of a better offer unless Boston wants to get involved... but with their young core about to reach the Finals and them adding Kyrie and Hayward next year, I don't think they need to do a move like this (assuming SA would want some combo including one of Brown/ Rozier/ Tatum plus picks). The more interesting thing would be an offer around Hayward for Kawhi. Ainge has shown he doesn't really value loyalty. I think SA would consider it just b/c Hayward is locked up for a while and seems to have had the exact opposite approach to Kawhi in terms of coming back (i.e Gordon has seemingly been wanting to come back earlier against his team's wishes).

If KP wasn't going to miss significant time next season, I actually think something along Lee, Frank, and #9 would be a decent offer from NY (it's worse than that rumored PHI offer though) and something I'd want to do... but with KP out for potentially half or all of next season and Kawhi being a FA next summer, I don't even think NY should do that...
