I'd be willing to say that not a single top level player in the NBA relies on team medical staff for this type of stuff. They might consult with them, but really they're paying out of pocket for the absolute best they can get. It's not the teams fault and is a huge positive to salaries being as high as they are.

I've been reading this for years though. Not once has there been an example.

Like when Lin was only 85% healthy and didn't come back. That's an example of the exact opposite.

I would like examples. I can't recall any.

I gave some examples of some players we couldn't get right. However that was always been a knicks thing. Rushing guys back when theyre not healthy and guys not being able to get back to their old selves. Like I said its better over the years.

If you think medical staffs dont matter see PHX. I think they broke up that staff bot sure. But for years they have been known for reviving players.

This whole ignorance is the sound equivalent of the "White and Gold/Black and Blue Dress" enigma.

Its been some years but

Shumpert
Jerome James
Houston
Amare
Curry

I think we had a change over in 2015 tho.

So...it's not really known then. I'm 100% positive people from 10-20 years ago are long gone.

When did we rush Amar'e back? Shumpert? This is speculation? Curry and JJ? ALAN HOUSTON? I can't remember much so...not trying to say you're wrong but, this is weak for examples IMO.

If we had a change...then it is not known anymore.

They did have that rep for sure. If you're in the desert you probably have to, as opposed to when you're in NYC and have access to more.

It's probably cheaper with better quality of care. It's actually well known that the rest of the world is years ahead in medical care than the USA. I have a friend who had to go to Germany for back surgery because all they did for him here was pain mgmt. After years of suffering...he's no longer in pain and, no longer seeing doctors for useless meds and BS therapy.

Anyway, it's nice to hear that he is bulking up. Hopefully not too much where he loses his agility.

there's a quota of articles that need to be written by a journalist, so most often than not you either get fluff pieces like fizdale being the greatest coach that got fired or articles like this, where kristaps is spending his offseason.

The difference being that normal journalists make it a puff piece, where the NYPost (or Daily News) turn it into a conspiracy of some kind

if we're all being honest, there's a part of us that knows that's a distinct possibility no matter who he rehabs with. he's not the normal nba player physically.

It's probably why they should trade him while they can

No, but KP didn't either at one point in time. Bamba is basically the same body type/game.

Would you not draft a player like him?

Do people that hear "Yanny" hear it sort of high pitched and nasally?

I swear I heard both at first - one higher and one low pitched - but now I only hear Laurel.

Yep. And I wonder how they’ll feel about his Quacky Connecticut trainer. I say let him play 20 games next year, then trade him in the off-season. I smell a diva. Queen KP
