imma registered democrat. lemme take a stab.

This particular senator thinks she is going to be the next president. Since she was too scared to be a real leader and show up on the day the embassy actually opened, she showed up the next day to support the United State's final recognition as Jerusalem as Israel's capital . She didn't have the balls to show up on the day they opened they opened the embassy. But still wants jewish people to vote for her here in the US. This is the kind of "leader" that shows up 4 years later to stop the next holocaust.

Typical democrat. And these are the kinds of so-called "leaders" that liberal vote to be in office.

Sad.

I pity you, and weep for the damage you and patsies like you are doing to our country. I hope you don’t start a civil war when Trump and his cronies go to jail but I will fight evil if called to serve.

weeeeeeellllll i would totally hit it. :D so hard as to even try to keep it. And be more than happy to play the part as "first man" and even reverse course and tow the company line. But thats another story :D But, i'll take me some candace owens over that.

If i were a gambling man, i'd bet on Owens over Harris. Owens is not ready, yet. And harris plays it too safe. Owens still Needs years of grooming and experience. And Kamala is not going to win in 2020 barring major catastrophe in current administration...so she could be the one to run and lose. I think Trump will eat her alive. So that leaves 2024. Where Owens, if she gets in office from now til then, can more than make up for the lack of experience over the next 6 years. Dont get me wrong, both of these horses have some serious gettyup. but I'd ride Owens if i wanted to cross the finish like first. harris is going to have to distinguish herself at some point. Show us why she is "different." Right now, I'm not so sure she will beat Cory Booker in a primary. But both have the same issue. They are too much like Clinton, Obama, and WJClinton. Which is all talk, no action for the inner cities. And a history of failed democratic entitlement programs. Owens however has an entirely different take. And it resonates. A lot!

Looks like capital spending by S&P 500 companies is expected to rise 24% in first quarter... so at least one part of the tax overhaul is working...

Too bad the other aspects were so poor.

zonker is a full blown nut job.

You mean generally meaningful responses without a bunch of smilies…

Zonk and Nate have a long history - they have had in-depth conversations and violently disagree both in where we should go as a country and what vehicle(s) to use to get there. These last posts are just a summation of what transpired earlier.

Fact check - 4.1% expected GDP - mostly false - the top end of the forecast is 4.1%, the range is 2.7 to 4.1%.

Fact check - folks making $50k and less have a lot MORE money in their pay checks - mostly false. The increase in take home for those making less than $50k is expected to be less than inflation.

So remember when i said over a year ago that Obama, Lynch, Comey, Mccabe, HRC, the DNC, and multiple other law enforcement and democratic leadership all conspired to surveil a political opponent (Donald Trump). Yeah me too. Yeah, i was right. Again.

It's both horrifying and fascinating to watch as Republican enablers, continue to create their own alternate reality/conspiracy from existing facts. Now George Papadopoulos is a fricking PLANT!?!?...and this get's tweeted by POTUS? Unbelievable.

Why isn't Trump tweeting about our first quarter GDP growth at 2.3 percent?

well, the devil is in the details. tech companies are driving a bulk of the capex spending, which is good for that particular industry. Everywhere else has been flat at best.
