I’d be lost without emminey’s scouting expertise, no idea how he finds the time to watch all the games. But seriously you guys need to come out to Mamia beach so we can hang out and watch the draft this year lol

Lonnie Walker's jumper is much better than his #s indicate. Much much better. I also still like Spellman. And Melton is a lottery level pick for sure.

Did ESPN get rid of the Draft Express strength and weaknesses videos?

Props to everybody who's knee-deep in this. College hoop is so far off my radar in terms of following prospects and this board is my crutch in getting up to speed.

Quick analysis:

Smith: Hmm. I don't know. Crazy athletic but what position does he play? Is he Will Barton with less offensive ability?

Jontay Porter: He reminds me of Jahlil Okafor (the reality not the prospect) but with Olynk's jump shot. I'd take that at 17.

I checked out Walker real quick. I was impressed by his motor. He seemed like a smaller, Marquette version of Butler. Then I read NBADraft Net to see who they compare him to (honestly they are usually way off [like most of us]) but what stuck out to me was they were saying he's not an engaged defender. That didn't make sense from what I was watching. So I found this:

Seems like a good defender to me. The video does mention that he can handle PGs and SGs fine but might struggle with SFs.

Okay, still researching and I think we should take this kid named DeAndre Ayton if he's there for us.

He's got potential as a PoA defender. Off ball he doesn't always stick to his man. But if he does he's strongly attached. His upside is if he's actually able to play PG full time. If he gets there he's a lottery pick.

Walker shot 31.5% from NBA 3 last season, has a terrible hairdo, and thinks the Earth is an illusion. I'm not sure what to think.
