If it is a wide-open 3, and the lane is contested, I don't ser a problem with it.

But trading an open or lightly contested layup for a 3, even if it is wide-open, is insanity if your name isn't Stephen Curry

It's just that teams don't even bother running it correctly, so they push down the middle, and the guys in the lanes stop running at the arc. Hard to hit an open man ahead when he's not there, so yeah the lane will be contested, but at least give yourself options beyond setting up for a 3. In some ways, the evolution of the 3 has ruined a lot of good aspects and variety in the game. Sort of becomes a circus show.

Why would you give Korver space? He isn't driving by you.
Only 7 Players in NBA history have 21,000 points, 5,750 assists and 5,750 rebounds. LeBron has double those numbers.

And, their big issue with Kyrie down is a bailout scorer. No one can make a shot. Very very poor concentration by Boston tonight. Made it easy for the Cavs today. Put no stress on them, which will make game 4 harder to win for Boston.

It’s not that they are due for a bad game. Celtics have been pretty bad on the road. Outside of sixers collapse/choke job in last minute of game 3 of that series. That series would have gone 7 games.

If Celtics lose game 4. This eastern finals is gonna 7 games as well.

Just the way the Celtics play. With Irving out. They don’t have much wiggle room on the road.

So even if they go to the finals. They are zero chance since they don’t have home court.

This... A wide open 3 is still a lower percentage shot for most players. Only one on Cavs that has the right to take a shot like that is Korver IMO, and even he’s not for sure.

Yeah this is disappointing when you want to see a competitive game, you want to see them push each other. Its like playing a pickup game where no one is really running the floor......

Why is lebron in the game?
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Get Cedi Osman and Ante Zizic on the court.

I want to see what the Cavaliers youngest players are made of.

I hate that too, unless you’re an elite 3 pt shooter - like Curry level elite, you shouldn’t be taking that shot mid game. Go to the rim... Ugh it’s a pet peeve a mine - such a waste of a fast break to end w/ a low percentage shot like that.

GSW changed the game in that aspect, since when Curry's on it's almost automatic, but teams should still have players spread out on the wings and have one guy running down low for options. It can make teams lazy if a coach doesn't address it, and as a fan, I miss the solid fundamentals that get pushed aside when teams resort to bailout 3s. If you have a man advantage in transition, there's really no excuse not to score.
