We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

This guy, he good:

CLEVELAND -- For Jose Altuve, dry spells can only last so long. After the reigning American League Most Valuable Player went hitless in 12 straight plate appearances starting on Wednesday, Altuve broke his own Astros franchise record by getting a hit in his ninth straight at-bat.

Altuve singled in the first inning of Sunday's series finale against the Indians and followed it up with an infield single in the fourth inning. He then notched his ninth straight hit on an RBI double to the gap in the sixth inning, bringing the Astros to within a run at 3-2.

And now he has 10 in a row, and that one ties the game.

Nice. Stankees had no chance. Time to crush the Nattynals.

This dude in only 26 years old. He has done nothing but improve each and every season that he has been in the League.

Such an impressive guy to be the cornerstone of a young franchise.

i was typing in the bulls board "=10" and typed in "=106" instead and ended up here. enjoyed the run down memory lane, too bad the two posters on this board stopped posting in 2019.
