I’d love for GS to lose, just to read/hear all the ridiculousness that will follow... but they are just too damn good. It would take a monumental choking from 3 out of 4 of their all stars AND Houston having a big game offensively for that to happen.

As always, its the Warriors game to lose. We are just so damn talented across the board. That being said, they choked away games four and five, so it's entirely possible that they choke away 7. I'll be on the edge of my seat.

I do think the refs will play a huge part in this one. If they start giving Harden his BS "run into somebody, fall over and flail arms" fouls then it becomes an uphill battle for GSW. Hopefully they don't get swayed by the home crowd into giving him those flops. It's not basketball and should not decide a game seven.
Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

The fact that we haven't heard anything this late about Paul's status gives me the feeling that he'll be able to play.

Since when was it a rule that an MVP should win a game against a team people consider better while the second best player who allowed them to even be in this position will either be out or really limited? You're telling people to be objective, but you think this is an objective statement? Sure, the Warriors aren't unbeatable, but games aren't 1v1 battles. Harden could score 50 and the Rockets still lose. The fact that you keep referring to this as of its Harden alone and not the Rockets as a team is the problem in itself. You think the Cavs win if LeBron played like he did but Jeff Green doesn't show up or the Cavs can't defend?

The requirement is that Harden shows up and plays like an MVP. The actual outcome will be based on much more then just how he plays. If both teams play to their best, the Warriors likely win by double digits despite whatever Harden does, so that's a factor too.

LOL Westbrook getting the MVP last year was one of the biggest sports travesties I have seen. You're not going to get me to defend that one.

I never said it was a rule that the MVP should win every game. Stop trying to create a Strawman.

If you're really the most valuable player with a Game 7 in your house to get to the Finals, you should be able to win. That's what it takes.

If you wanna keep making excuses for him go ahead. This is Harden's legacy game. This is where he will be judged amongst the greats. Nobody is going to care/remember the circumstances 10 years down the line.

Harden needs to will his team to win. I saw Chris Paul do just that in Game 4 and 5 and hes not as talented as Harden is.

That the MVP should win game 7 at home!!!!!!!!! Since when was that a rule? When did I say every game? You're making up arbitrary requirements that lack context, it's dumb.

LOL at making the NBA Finals with a game 7 being "arbitrary."

Maybe arbitrary to you. Its not arbitrary to how people around the league will judge him.

It's regular season trophy not a playoff trophy, what are you smoking bro. Hes going against 4 all stars, not even Mj would be able to take them out alone with out help.

I never mentioned the trophy.

I just said if hes really the MVP of the league then he needs to prove it in the playoffs.

If CP3 plays the Warriors need to attack him all first qtr. Test out that hammy. Wouldn't be surprised to see an accidental kick to the hammy either (you all know cp3 would do that)

Cp3 is either definitely playing or he’d definitely out. There’s no game time decision.

People around the league? Or you? You admitted yourself that you aren't actually judging him on performance, just on outcome, so even if he sucks tonight and the Rockets somehow squeeze out a win, based on your logic, you will be crediting him, but if he plays great but the Warriors, who are the better team play better than his team, you are concluding that if will show him to not be an MVP. It's stupid logic and should be called out as such and others who use that logic should also be called out as using stupid logic, whether or not there are many people doing it. The majority doing something doesn't make it correct.

Maybe it'd be better for CP3 to die the hero in this series and always live with his doubters giving him credit for willing his team to a 3-2 lead before getting hurt and his supporters always saying "what if"

Rather than coming back and getting blown out.

Though I'd love for CP3 to play....

Put a lot of money on the Rockets today before their ML drops....100% sure CP3 is playing today he aint missing this one for a chance at his first finals.
