Retired Knicks enforcer Charles Oakley isn't surprised by the emergence of video that seemingly shows him minding his own business when James Dolan appears to signal to Madison Square Garden security to toss him out of the stadium during a game last year. Now he can get back to what he loves — cooking.

The Daily News has learned that Oakley is telling friends about Dolan's initial claims that he was an instigator in that dust-up were "bulls--t" from the start and that the tape speaks for itself. The 54-year-old former All-Star insists he didn't do anything wrong and claims that Dolan harbors a personal grudge against him for reasons he doesn't understand. Oakley has been advised not to speak to the media until the case has ended.

has anyone seen this video? Also, regardless of whether Dolan acted like an ass or not, Oak assaulted those guards, not the other way around. He mushed one, pushed another. Both men evidently have issues and both acted shamefully.

Oakley was standing up for himself...that does not make him a POS. He had every right to be upset and defend himself

The key is security put there hands on Oakley first. Oakley reacted wrong, but Dolans behavior was much worse especially his comments after. its clear Dolan provoked the situation and just wanted to embarrass oak.

If this video is true, and that Oak was just minding his own business, then security is lucky that he didn't beat the **** out of them. Think about it - if you were sitting in a seat that was paid for, and then security told you to leave even though you were just minding your own business, are you seriously telling me you wouldn't lose your ****, especially after these guards put their hands on you? I can't believe people aren't siding with Oak here. Holy ****.
