Hasn't Vanderbilt had multiple foot injuries already, or am I thinking of someone else?

Eeeeek, that's scary stuff. Not sure we can afford to take that gamble.

Gary Trent Jr is coming in for a visit or already visited? I'm not sure. Anyway, that makes me happy. With Jontay back to Mizzou, Gary Trent Jr is definitely 1 of my top guys. I hope he has/had a killer workout and is taken into heavy consideration at 17.

As opposed to DJ, Vaughn, Thon, Inglis, JOB, Lamb, Hobson, Tony Gallon, Joe Alexander, Yi...

Liggins, Kilpatrick, Munford, Bolomboy, Gary Payton, Jennings, Plumlee, Gerald Green...
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...

Yeah he's got one scheduled with us. I love his high volume, high efficiency from behind the arc in the ACC as a freshman. You don't see that often. I also like that he tested as one of the most athletic guys at the combine and he's got good height for a SG (6'6 in shoes). Good leader and locker room guy. And the NBA bloodlines... I think there is good correlation with NBA bloodlines and success in the NBA (Hardaway Jr., Sabonis, Curry, Jabari, Booker, etc.). I take him at #17 if he is available since I doubt Robert Williams will be there.

Trent Jr was in a pretty **** situation to showcase wing abilities. Not saying if I'd take Jim not, just trying to make the point that he may have more than what he showed on a post dominant Duke team

There's no way to avoid a gamble. Let the medical/training staff evaluate and go from there. They give the thumbs down, you move on.

Its the same with the Greek national team picking Thanasis just to be sure Giannis wil be here when we need him, the good part is that at the end Thanasis energy helps, he is a good role player.

I'm against we pick Kostas with a draft pick as i'm against other teams pick him, other players deserve that and he didn't do anything to prove he worth it.

Honestly... I'd have no problem with that. He fits the modern day PF, and he can play some 3. 7'3 wingspan, 235 lbs, can hit the 3, runs the court, plays D. He would not be an exciting pick, but he's a solid 2-way player. Would I take him over Zaire Smith? No - even though Smith doesn't check the boxes for Milwaukee's needs, I think he's a future all-star, so I gotta take him if he's there.

You really think Zhaire is a future allstar? That intrigues me. He definitely is a freak athlete and his defensive potential is enticing but I still don't trust that shot ever getting better and I question why hes such a late bloomer and got no attention in high school...

I too think Smith will be an all-star given the right situation. I was worried about his shot but after watching a lot of video on him I think it is very fixable. I would be ecstatic if we got him, DiVencivo, or a couple other players around our pick.

I just wanna get this thread maxed out so that we can start a new one with a poll for guys that should be there at 17. Now that we officially know everyone who's declaring.

Bearing in mind recent team history, which feasible pick would most upset the draftniks here? Just want to get a head-start on my hate prior to LVSL.

If I had to chose between guys with NBA siblings, I'd probably go Kostas over Aaron Holiday.

It’s games like this that really shy me away from Wendell Carter. I think he is going to frefall in this draft because of his inability to play defense in space and his inability to switch. He’s solid at playing his guy in the post, but anywhere else he may as well be Jabari.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
