John Beilein Interviews For Pistons' Head Coaching Vacancy

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Jun 1, 2018 7:14 pm

The Detroit Pistons have interviewed John Beilein for their head coaching vacancy.

Beilein has been head coach of Michigan since 2007 and has led the school to the Final Four in 2013 and 2018.

The Pistons are searching for a head coach to replace Stan Van Gundy.

Man, at age 65. Can he do both jobs? Since they're so close to each other. Just hire a lot of great assistants.

Thanks for the honesty.

I'd prefer Casey (kind of an outlier position on the Pistons board), but Beilein would be an intriguing choice. My only question is why tf they are interviewing coaching candidates without a GM. The process is backwards.
At the end of the day, it's not about wins and losses. Teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship make champions of us all.
