This may sound ridiculous, but has a guy who looks like Kevin Huerter ever been a successful NBA player? I would bet money against him being the first.

Do we assume that pick is just given to us? Or is it based on we've traded everyone?

I would assume it’s under whatever scenario is required to get the pick. Probably aren’t getting a top five pick without moving Russ. Who is the best overall player you would take in the ranges listed above? Not necessarily about fit with this particular group of players.

Based on the B/R mock
1-5: Doncic
6-10: Porter
11-15: miles bridges
16-20: Elie Okobo
21-25: Troy Brown
26-30: melvin Frazier

We're playing small and switching everything I guess.

Nice exercise to keep us busy. Here's mine.

1-5 Doncic
6-10 MPJ
11-15 Miles Bridges
16-20 Lonnie Walker if he's available. Not in love with any late firsts tbh.
21-25 Mitchell Robinson
26-30 Jalen Brunson

Nice read on some potential break out players that could likely be picked outside the top ten. I’m not sure about Robert Williams, but I like the others.

I've become more and more enamored by Kevin Huerter after looking up more about him. His release on his shot is VERY quick and he can shoot on the move pretty well. Not to say he is anywhere near the same player, but he reminds me of Klay a lot. I guess it all depends on how he pans out on the defensive end, but there is definitely alot to like about him.

His combine drills were very good and his wingspan isnt bad either. He looks like Opie from Andy Griffith, but the guy seems legit.

I hate how much I fell in love with that highlight video. My heart says holy **** that was Durant reminiscent, my head says that's because he was taking insanely stupid shots that only a few players in the world have the talent to take.

I’ve seen his wingspan reported at 6-8 and a 1/2 as well as 7 feet. It’s not a huge issue but it’s defintely something. He also is super skinny. He probably needs at least 25-30 pounds to not get bullied). His shot is kinda weird. It looks like a long chest pass at times.

In spite of that I think his ceiling is athletic better Danilo and and his floor is Detroit Singler. I think on potential alone he merits going higher than several guys before him

If he slipped in to the second, I think I would prefer him over alkins. If we acquired a frp, i dont know if he’s my first choice. He’s still very young so his potential is unknown. He’s just too skinny to make an immediate impact. Reportedly the spurs are interested in him.

I'm out on Alkins, he had a pretty poor combine and when you add that to a lack of college production it's not a pretty outlook.

I do too. I like some of the depth of this draft better than others. If we can get a frp, it seems like a good year to find a quality guy late in the draft.

Didn’t Alkins look pretty good in the 5 on 5 stuff

Not really, just had one really good game on day two, 17 points 6 rebs and 5 blocks. Day one he had 4 points and 5 rebounds. TBH I don't care much about the five on five unless someone is consistently dominating, we have game tape on guys so that's a better indicator than a few games.

I've seen people compare him to Evan Turner as an insult, but I think we really need a guy like that.

He should be available at the end of the 2nd then. Just curious what does your realistic big board look like?
