However my point is people are applying all the intangibles qualities of mj saying he would’ve overcame this juggernaut known as GS. Lebron “quit” but still had an objectively great series. And while KD outplayed Bron the last 2 games from an offensive standpoint, Lebron was the best player in the series. How would MJ have won? I’ve seen people make that argument. That’s what I’m debating against. Nobody can answer me when I ask who is the best player mj had to guard in the finals. Oh yeah, y’all expect Lebron to average a 35 point triple double while stopping KD and somehow making guys like jr play less dumb and make shots. It’s and impossible task. But Jordan could’ve done it... as if guarding Bryon Russel was soooo taxing...

Sounds like you were born in 1999. You missed a great era, man. You tuned in and got what you expected, the best playing their best, not quitting because the odds were stacked against them.
The most beautiful, exciting thing in sports, UPSETS, wouldn't be possible if athletes had Lebron and this current crop of NBA players' thinking....."we're gonna lose anyway".
Jordan said he played hard in every game because there could be that one kid in the stands watching him for the first time...and this dude Lebron threw his hands up, at home, in a Finals game, and said nahh...I got next year.
Go watch his interview the day before game 4...it's eerie how he is setting up the narrative in it, to get people ready for the reasons he's going to lose.....watching in hindsight is even more amazing because it's clear as day the guy isn't gonna try.
This is the new phase Lebron is heading in...racking up stats, making excuses, and he knows he's young enough and disloyal enough to go to any team and win a couple of more championships...with that done he knows he will get the title of the best ever once he reaches 5, 6 championships, and his Finals losses won't count as a negative, they'll actually reflect positively on his career....he's brilliant.
I'm not gonna bother to reply any further, because your arguments are trash like most typical stat diggers, your arguements show you have no eye for the game....trashing Byron Russel for guarding Jordan but your boy leaves the guy who plays his position, who is trying to take his "throne", and takes a stroll with Stephen Curry in the most pivotal defensive play of the game.....your boy doesn't have the balls to say "I got this guy", that's the difference, not the number of shots he makes.
And he guards the worst offensive player on the opposing team on a nightly basis trying to play a Scottie Pippen style of free safety defense, but he sucks at it. He sticks Draymond against the Warriors and his bigs are constantly left on an island battling with GS wings and guards...pussy.
He had this guy guarding him with the game on the line.....
but passes it to George Hills and Tristan Thompsons during crucial junctures in the game, but people wanna trash MJ for being guarded by these lunatics?
