KP is training with a meathead supplement scammer?

Unfortunately, no.

Everyone talks about how smart, talented and hardworking KP is.

I'm starting to question that first attribute, if this is the kind of guy he thinks it's a good idea to train with.

KP can go fck himself then. I hope they trade him. What a bleeping idiot

P.S. And KP has never exhibited a high hoops IQ anyway. He's fairly articulate, but growing up multi-lingual and being able to address the media does not make you a sharpie by default. After three seasons, KP's passing skills didn't evolve which is what I was looking for as sign of mental development on the court. And it never happened. He is pretty much an ISO player.

I've been a big fan of Frank from the beginning in a way I've never been of KP. But this kind of self-regulation with his rehab is now officially ridiculous in my estimation if he really is training with this moron. Frank seems to understand where to go and whom to train with, but KP is looking like a D.I.Y. dummy now.

I hope this guy is not training him so I can revise my opinion, but if he really is working out with this fool then KP is truly an idiot.

This isn't some conspiracy. That guy is his trainer. He's certainly ONE of his trainers.

Not to engage in some revisionist history, but I've always been a little wary of KP's "media savvy". When the glow was on when he was drafted and he had this full blown video ready right out of the gate and was saying all the right things, I thought "this guy gets it" but I was still concerned the slick video was ready made. Maybe the family didn't even do it and it was some ESPN thing, but I thought "hmm, they are really ready and willing for the hype". Now, again, part of that is today's reality, but I filed that away as a potential red flag.

I don't consider any of the Instagram etc stuff a flag, because that's a thing anyone his age, younger, little bit older, tend to do. If anything, I would consider the content, but in the context of being a pro bball player it's all pretty tame, no flags.

Blowing off the interview with Phil was another potential red flag. Now, I'm not going to rehash the whole thing other than to say it's pretty easy to be on KP's side as Phil was acting like a big ol' d*ck but again, there's a narrative where you could say that even though KP was pretty much in the right, maybe he was pushing the whole "franchise star" thing a bit soon. Again, why it's not screaming out "red flag" but another "file that one away"

Anyway, cliff notes version is that KP, via Janis and his family seem to want to embrace the celebrity machine in the US of A, rightly seeing it as the avenue to more fame and $. I also think that Janis gets "advice" from various industry "insiders" so some of the posturing etc is from there. I'm just concerned that perhaps coming from another land, that is a certain way they may not grasp that while a lot of the hype machine is good (for the bottom line), there is a lot of hucksters and BS'ers in it. They certainly gravitated to one in the trainer.

Even if he is physically better he still should take the time to work on his body mechanics. Like bringinhinkie and the doctor in the video alluded to, his mechanics need to improve to prevent these issues in the future. I also hope he takes the time to work on his 3pt %. He is supposed to be the unicorn in large part because of his shooting ability but other bigs around the league are getting just as good or better at shooting than he is.

3. Real good news is that there was no other structural damage to the knee. Especially cartilage.

Isn't body mechanics what that third doctor was working with him on? The extra strength will naturally help him get a more fluid shot with arc instead of the liners he is accustomed to shooting. Remember this last video is a few months old. He has been in the Real Madrid facilities for a while now working on his shot.

Yes he is working on it but usually fixing a poor movement pattern like he has will take some time. It sounds like he is trying to rush back when it’s really not necessary.

If it's true that almost all the cartilage in the knee is intact than the usual extra precaution is not necessary. Usually the extra time is used to recover from the follow up cartilage reconstruction. He had surgery on Feb 13th so if he is on track for a quicker natural recovery let's say longer than the minimum 6 months, even at 8-9 months he would be back by November. I don't understand all of this keep KP out for whole season talk. He could at most miss the first 20 games. If they rush him along then he will be back by training camp.
