what false narrative?
If Kristaps plays the power forward this year, he's guaranteed to defend quicker players on the perimeter.
Better pray the person he's guarding on the perimeter shows him mercy.
The problem you are baiting and switching to is not a problem of Kp and the false claim of his lack of quickness
The issue is that Pfs and centers shouldn’t be set up to guard quick players on the perrimiter every time there is a pick or screen
You might as well cry about franks lack of ability to guard and rebound against the leagues strongest Pfs and centers
Frank isn't guarding power forwards and centers because that isn't his strength.
If Kristaps' strength is blocking shots, what the hell is he doing playing a position that doesn't take advantage of his strength?
You’re constantly creating these false stories and adjusting the narrative to hide that you are confused, as you said yourself
You claim the issue is that KP shouldn’t be guarding fast players
But then you can’t follow the concept to understand that the switch is when this happens and therefore it’s a mismatch for whoever is on the other side of the switch as well
Unless you’re under the impression that the Knicks are playing KP as a guard
Porzingis is playing power forward or center
He will always put one of those two positions
If opposing offenses want to create a mismatch with him against a small quicker player than that is something we will have to deal with regardless of where we have him slotted
If you were trying to make an argument that we should not draft another center or big and that’s one thing but to create this false claim and repeat it over and over and over again doesn’t do that.
