I could probably name more but you get the point. Not having super long arms isn't a career killer. Yes, it's an advantage but there are very good players who have average to below average wingspans. One of the greatest defensive centers of the 80's and 90's - Kevin Willis - had alligator arms. Svi can guard 3 positions with his quickness, so although defense isn't his strength, he's a smart defender, can guard multiple positions because he's 6-8 and quick (more than Allen), I wouldn't be overly concerned about his defense. Especially since he'll probably be going up against other bench players or the weaker of the offensive players when he's out there with the starters.
