Would a team take Singler for the two 2nds? Would rather have the roster spot and roll the dice on g leaguers than these late picks.

You could probably get rid of him for one 2nd.

Patterson, singler, and two seconds for an early second.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

The Singler contract is an asset now. At the end of Luke Ridnour's career he had a deal like Singlers where there were 2 years left and the 2nd year was non-guranteed. He was traded 4 times within 3 days. His contract will be used as an asset to get a guy on a contract between $3-$7 million.

I dont think Patterson is traded. Hes most likley the starting 4 this year.

So from what I've gathered we picked a really bad year to have nothing but picks in the 50s. Last night on the "On the Clock" draft special on ESPN when they discussed us they even said something to the effect of 'this is a year you can find contributors in the second round' and went on to discuss guys who are pegged to go as late as 45.

TBH people say that every year. There will be a Max of 4 players in the second round that are more than end of bench types. People fall in love with every prospect this time of year, it's just the nature of evaluating a bunch of guys who were good college players.

That would be the second worst move of Presti's career if he went through with that... easily

Saves 20 million dollars.

It aint your money. Since the owners bought this team 12 years ago the teams value has probably trippled. The ownership is just fine playin the lux tax. This team is not going to amke a move that makes the team worse. Espeically if it would still keep us in the lux tax.

I don't think that makes them worse. An it's better than the lamb trade and in retrospect waiters and Kanter and hiring Billy.

The point isn't rather I want it to happen, it's to propose a realistic scenario. Otherwise I'd just be spamming Melo for Kawhi deals.

I feel like Melo for Kawhi is a no brainer! HAha

How about sending Melo to Miami and taking back Dion and any other player not named Tyler Johnson?

I am so intrigued by what Melo will do and what he wants. Will he opt in? I can't see him leaving $28 milion on the table. I dont think he could get a contract worth $28 million.

Would the Nets trade Crabbe for Melo? It would get Melo back to NY, give him his own team with Dwight for a year, the Thunder get a shooter and the Nets get to lose games for a better pick becasue its not 2011.

If Trae Young falls out of the top 10. Can the Thunder get up there and get him?

Per Kevin Pelton Draft pick trade value chart the Thunder picks have the following value:

53 - 300
57 - 260

If the Thunder wanted to trade up pick #34 has a value of 560.

So typically when the thunder make big moves, it’s quiet beforehand...we can only hope.

Luka to Carlisle? I like it a lot.
