But if he’s our guy I will root for him and hope for the best.

Untapped Potential.
I’m sold with Knox at 9 if that is Fizdales Guy. If I am the GM , I’m betting my job on Fizdale. He’s going to help him grow and reach that untapped potential.
I’m also betting on Knox’s father. He seems like a really good Dad and I think so far he has raised a very good young man.
I think the sky is the limit for Knox. If he has an inner beast that we havnt seen and Fizdale thinks he can bring that beast out, then I let Fizdale have his guy.
Bamba>Doncic>Knox>Mikal>Carter is I think where im at. I’m only trading down if it’s really really worth it.
I just don’t like that he has such a low motor and doesn’t seem to have a great feel for the game. I am not sure if those things can be taught or developed and don’t think it can be blamed on the system. It showed when I watched him, and the stats show it as well. I would agree he has some untapped potential as a scorer, but think it will take a lot of time and may not be worth it in the end.
He can still pan out and maybe it all clicks, but personally I would rather bet on another player at #9.
