Hawks follow up thier knockoff Curry and Thompson picks Young and Huerter, with a guy who compares himself to Draymond. Why not
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I don't know he seems like one of those guys that can defend 1-4 in the NBA and he played PG growing up so he must have a handle/passing skill-set which is an added bonus for his position. I would still gamble on him.

He doesn't have the foot speed to guard 1s and 2s. Even faster 3s would be a problem for him.

He has a 7'3 wingspan which should make up for some of that.

Once his new extension kicks in I believe so?

I believe if you chuck Powell for nothing and resign Fred, then you are still over the tax line by like half million.

It is actually hard to deal players for nothing because there are too many teams trying to get under the tax line right now.
The best way is to make bigger trades where you shave a few million here and there. Getting teams to absorb players for nothing is difficult right now.

If we buy or trade for a 2nd round pick I'm assuming it's going to be for either another project guy like Bonga or Diallo, or a junior/senior like Shake Milton or Melvin Frazier

Is this the first draft in a while with no trades involving NBA players?
